Product Information

Silver State Armory uses several well-known and trusted components in the production of this ammunition. For starters, Silver State uses Lake City brass in this ammunition. Often used by the United States military, this heavy duty brass helps to maintain smooth chambering.

Next, Silver State has acquired a lead-free jacketed bullet from the Barnes Bullet company. Originally designed for military and tactical applications, the Barnes Reduced Ricochet, Limited Penetration (RRLP) bullets can also be used for personal and home defense. 100% lead free, the RRLP bullet remains intact in mid-air and eliminates the primary cause of jammed actions and plugged barrels. Ideal for shooting steel targets, competition, plinking, hunting and home defense This bullet remains intact in mid-air and eliminates the primary cause of jammed actions and plugged barrels. Altogether, this round can be used for competition, law enforcement, hunting and home defense.

ATTENTION:
This ammunition is loaded with hard Military Spec Primers designed for use in military style rifles. It may misfire in some single shot break-open firearms.

Please Note: While the 5.56x45mm NATO will fit in a .223 Remington chamber, the 5.56 is a military round that runs at higher pressures than its .223 counterpart and is not recommended to be fired in a .223 Remington chamber.
