Not only is this stuff excellent in guns and other finicky little mechanical things, it's a great all-around marine grease as well. I've used it when servicing yacht winches, rope clutches, and other deck-mounted hardware that's almost constantly exposed to salt spray and rain. After service with SuperLube, the annual regimen becomes "wipe off the old grease and apply new, even though it doesn't really need it." Really great product.

I originally bought this grease for my M1, but I am finding that I am using it on all of my guns. Like the other reviewers have said, it stays put, works well, and doesn't attract too much dirt/debris. I haven't tried it in really cold weather, but as far as hot weather there was no issues. I highly recommend it.

As stated-its great stuff.I use it on my auto pistols on rails and any place theres metal to metal.I have two XD's and two 1911's(all springfields)i keep an old paperclip on my bench and use it to put it were needed. Try to shoot twice a week 200-300 at a trip. Then just field-strip wipe off the old and redo. Best stuff i've ever seen.Get the big tube,you'll be glad you did !!!!!

I purchased a 3 Oz. tube of this some time back, and have been using it for years on my firearms. It looks like, and has the consistency of Vaseline. But the comparison stops there. This stuff really stays put, and works well on auto pistol slides, bolt lugs on bolt action rifles, as well as hinge pins on O/U and side by side shotguns. If you store guns in a humid climate you can wipe a thin film of it on the steel itself and it won't evaporate. Another good feature of this lubricant is it doesn't seem to attract dirt, carbon, and crud like so many other greases do. In fact I lightly coat the gas piston on my wife's Beretta A-390 Trap gun with it, and I've found it cleans up much easier. Even after a 400 target tournament.

Without a doubt, these synthetic PTFE lubricants are fantastic. Super Lube stays where you put it, and doesn't seem to care about the temperature or the climate.It will get a little loose in hot weather, and a little tacky in cold weather, but it's always there. When it rains, Super Lube doesn't wash away.This is just all-around great stuff; I'm always on the lookout for a new way to use it.
