This was great for adding a sling to my Savage Model 24 Deluxe with the lower .20 gauge barrel. Use blue Loctite between the contact surfaces of the barrel band and barrel to prevent the band turning or moving on the barrel.

I purchased this set for a Puma Model 92 chambered in 454 Casull. My magazine tube measured .765", yet the front band was a little bit loose when installed. Like the instructions say, however, the band will not fall off, but it may slide somewhat, which could damage the tube's finish. A small amount of tape, or something else to increase tension, might be necessary, depending on your preference. Overall, I like the product and it fits reasonably well. I would recommend the use of this set to anybody, just be prepared to to do a little work to keep the front band from moving around. In case anybody is curious (I know I was), the front band is held together around the barrel/tube using a supplied screw in the upper hole pictured, and the swivel goes through the lower hole. The swivel itself has no tension on it to keep the band in place.
