I was rather disappointed ...

I was rather disappointed with the Shooters Ridge thumbhole stock. I think they have some great ideas, they just need to work on their quality, a LOT!! First of all the Hardwoods HD camo looked horrible, it didn't match the Hardwoods HD camo on my 10/22 at all. Secondly, the stock didn't fit the action. Trimming was required to fit the stock to the action. When I buy a new stock, of good quality, I don't need to trim anything for it to fit. Now, it could be I received a 1 in 1500 stock that just slipped by the quality control check, and left the manufacturer. Hopefully this is the case and maybe most of their stocks are of good quality. If the two problems mentioned earlier didn't exist, the only complaint I'd have is the stock's a little on the heavy side. Other than that, it would've been an excellent stock, it felt good when held in the shooting position and the raised cheek piece is very nice, especially if you have a large objective scope mounted on the gun.
