The MidwayUSA Pro Series Tactical Rifle Case is a heavy duty tactical weapons case that's engineered to provide exceptional protection for rifles and carbines of all shapes and sizes. The case's unique internal lashing system features 4 Velcro straps which hold the gun securely and prevent potential damage to the weapon and all mounted accessories or optics. These cases are constructed with an advanced dual density bonded padding system (10mm EVA closed cell plus 15mm PU open cell) that provides superior impact protection compared to basic foam used in other cases. Other enhanced durability features include heavy duty, Hi-Abrasion resistance ballistic fabric construction (600 Denier Polyester), oversized self repairing coil zippers, fully wrapped webbing handles with hook/loop closure, reinforced seam stitching, metal hardware, non slip padded shoulder strap and snag-proof 420 Denier lining fabric.

A disclaimer. I am not a AR loving hup huppin kind of guy. But, this is a great bag. I keep a holo scoped Berreta Carbine and a Ruger Ranch Rifle in mine. A friend borrowed it for CAS trip and kept his 92 Carbine and double barrel in it on a trip to a regional shoot Another friend saw it and ran to his P/U and hung this bag perfectly behind the bench seat. His now holds an AR rig for coyotes- including bipod mags loaded, calls,scope spotting scope. This bag is well padded, dust proof, with strong velcro loops for 2 long guns, and a side bag with a zippered inner bag.A padded shoulder strap and 6 mag pouches. Very well made- not your gunshow low dollar drivel. Flexible and near perfect. Why 4 stars? The red and white logo looks disneyesque (cartoonlike) on this bag. Dark gray? OD? Dark khaki? Great Midway logo but wrong colors for a tac bag! Durability should be good. No sign of a poor seam and top materials used throughout. If the length is right for you, give it a try.I know 5 folks with one; they all sing its praises.

I use this case for my trips to the range. It is roomy enough for a full-sized AR and has plenty of magazine storage space.
It has held up well with no signs of wear or zipper failure that is so commoon other products.

This case is just what I was looking for. It is the perfect size for my 16" barreled AR-15 and has plenty of extra compartments for storage of accessories. My AR is 33" overall length and I got the 35" case which just fits. If my rifle were only 1/2" longer it would not fit so make sure to get the proper size case for your needs. It appears to be well built and I expect it to last a long time. I was especially looking for a case where I can secure my rifle inside so it does not shift around during transport and this case satisfied that requirement.

I purchased this along with the Pro Series Competition Range Bag from Midway and remain extremely impressed with both. It is always difficult to buy something you cannot first pick up and inspect, so I wanted to assure you that this is a very nice piece for the price and I have no regrets on passing up on various other brands from the major retailers. The zippers, buckles, and padding are high quality and this item could be sold for double in stores. The OD coloration is perfect. There are velcro die downs and pouches inside the case, 6 mag pouches, and a very nice case sling included.

Also, my 16" AR-15 fits tight, but perfectly, in the 35" case.

This case is just too heavy for casual use. I like the retention straps inside that could secure 2 rifles but only bare without accessories attached. Zippered on main compartment are difficult to use and case is not designed to be easily lockable. Would be very desireable here in California for transport.

Good rifle bag. Bought the 35" bag for a 16" barrel AR15 with collapsible stock, and it just barely fits in there. Lots of handy pockets and quality construction. Only wish is that it was 1-3" longer. 35" is absolute minimum for a 16" AR, but I did not want to step up to 43". All in all, I'd buy it again.

4.5 STARS After reading about this case. i was worried about the zip issue. Not a problem with the ziper. I take it easy when im unzipping the case.
If you have a scope or something else on the AR. You will only get 1 AR in there. Maybe you can stuff 2 ARs in there. I dont want the guns to rub on each other.

Heavy duty canvas with big zippers. The magazine pockets are large enough that you don't have to force them in like on other cases. Very satisfied.

Really like this bag at first, especially for the price. But after only a few uses the stitching on the piping that holds the bag together is starting to pull loose.
I notice what the problem was then, Made in China.
Come on Midway, if you have USA in your name, maybe sell your name branded products made in USA too.
