The MidwayUSA Pistol Case is perfect for transporting your handguns to and from the range. The case features a rugged PVC coated polyester outer shell and a heavy duty zipper. All MidwayUSA Pistol Cases utilize closed cell foam padding and a soft interior lining to protect your firearms during transport. Additionally, all cases are zippered to lay flat when opened to allow them to be easily used on a shooting bench or in a range lane. Multiple colors are available to allow color coding of firearms or to suit the shooters preference.

I purchased two of the 10 inch cases. A 5.5 inch MKIII 22/45 .22 pistol fits with little room to spare. Another review stated the case can be locked. My cases have NO metal zipper pull with a hole in it to accept a lock. The cases I purchased and received CAN NOT be locked. The padding appears adequate for the price point. I was taught to wipe the outside of my firearms with a light coating of oil after I handle them and before I return them to the safe. Only time will tell if the inside material is resistant to gun oil. If I thought of this I know Midway did also, so it should not be a problem. Make sure you measure the overall length of your firearm before you place an order. This may seem obvious, but I was surprised that the 5.5 inch 22/45 was such a snug fit. For the price these cases are fine. I would be more enthusiastic about them if they had the ability, metal rings on the zipper, to accept a lock.

I use them to store pistols in my safe to protect from damage and allow me to store more in less space. I have had no problems with using them for storage and have been using them for over a year.

I use these to transport firearms from home to range and back. Keeps range bag clean and gives additional padding to handguns. I hand wash them and line dry when inside gets very dirty. Get the right size for your handguns. If handgun right at the breaking point (size), I recommend going up to the larger size - it can be too tight of a fit around the magazine otherwise. These could be used to storage handguns, but I recommend a safe instead.

The case was a perfect fit for my wifes first gun. It also helps that the color matches her gun, a S&W Airlight with pink hogue grips. She was totally excited when it finally came in the mail. She couldn't wait to show it off at the range.

Padding is good, plenty enough to keep them safe from moderate bumps and scuffs that occur while in transit to the range. I have had mine in contact with WD-40 and CLP, and haven't had any reactions. The zipper seems to be heavy duty and so far have had ZERO problems. Great product.

Although not designed for long term storage, these are great, inexpensive cases for transporting handguns to the range. In fact, they are so nice and low cost, I bought 4 just for this purpose.

Purchased 5 of these and was very happy, in February I purchased one for my newest weapon a FNH FNP 45. Much better when transporting it to and from the range! Now I plan every time I do purchase a handgun I will purchase a carrying case so I can store the cheap plastic case!

I reviewed many different gun case brands before I made the choice to buy two of the Midway brand, one black and one olive drab, both 10". The cases are well made, very protective of your handgun, extremely reasonable in price and serves the purpose for what it is intended. You can spend a lot more for a similar product but it will not give your handgun any better protection than this one. I have to admit I was not expecting the quality to be adequate given the low cost but I was pleasantly surprised. The case is made in China but it is evident that Midway must demand high quality standards in the making of the case.I most definitely would recommend this case!!!
