Great bag! Very sturdy ...

Great bag! Very sturdy with overbuilt hardware and good structure due to the reinforcement/padding on the bottom and sides. It's got the dual-zipper panel opening at the top, just like the original. I threw 2 cased pistols, earmuffs, glasses, all my magazines, some targets and about 200 rounds of ammo in it and headed to the range. It was pretty full at that point, but the padded shoulder strap made it easy to carry. Much smaller than the original MidwayUSA bag, but still large enough to handle a full morning of pistol shooting.

Overall I really like the bag but I gave it 3 stars for a few reasons. First the good stuff though.Pros- Really nice bag for the priceHolds two pistols (maybe more) several hundred rounds, all the accessories you need for IDPA or any day at the range, with room to spare- without being a giant bag.Looks great!Solid construction (except for the zipper pulls)Cons-Zipper pull plastic ends are flimsy and break easily. One of mine arrived broken and another fell off the first time I pulled it. The plastic is thin and living hinge snap feature is not strong.Since Midway does not stock replacement parts I was forced to send the bag back and they sent me a new one. So I then didn't have a range bag for two weeks and had to spend an additional $10 for shipping. Minus 1.5 stars.The mag holder flap has no upper attachment to the bag so when it's loaded with full mags is tends to sag and press out the side of the bag instead of standing up straight. This could be fixed by adding a snap on the back of the mag holder flap. Minus .5 stars.

This bag is anything but compact. It fits everything I need for 2 guns, 8 magazines, eyes, ears ammo, etc. What sold me were the individual pockets for magazines/revolver speedloaders. Both fit just right. Have only used it a few months and no problems at all. When fully loaded, this thing is big and heavy. I'm glad I didn't get the full size one (You'd probably need a wheelbarrow to transport it if this is the compact version). Just wish if they absolutely HAD to put the Midway name on it, they would have made the lettering very small and tasteful. It's the only thing I don't like about the bag (knocked off a star for the unsightly Midway logo). Definitely recommend though.

I use this bag when I visit the pistol range. It holds all the gear I need and is not cumbersome. It is well-made, well thought-out in its design, and VERY reasonably priced. The only "down side" is that my wife likes it as a "travel bag", and on occasionally I have to surrender it. Think I might buy her one of her own.

A perfect companion to the larger range bag Midway USA offers; it is essentially a scaled-down version of it's larger brother. Lots of storage on the outside with zippered pockets. One side has magazine pouches that are large enough to fit the wide-bodied magazines of my Glock 21 and has sown-in elastic areas for keeping small tools and other useful range items. Center area is wide and long enough for several boxes of ammo and also has two separate areas on either side of the center compartment perfect for just about any size handguns. 2 smaller zippered pockets are on the ends and are useful for personal items like car keys, batteries and extras like that.

Unlike the largest of the competition bags it doesn't have a specific pouch that is on the outside that fits a pair of ear muffs or the 2 removable pistol pouches/rugs that comes with the larger bag. It also lacks the small spent-brass pouch that comes with the big bag as well but those are only very minor things when you consider the bag as a whole. It is large enough for a 2 or 3 gun trip to the range but isn't so large that you are tempted to load everything you own into it (as you'd do with the big bags) and I like the 2 larger side pouches on the outside over the design of the large bag with 1 large and two small.

My primary use is for IDPA and this will be my go-to bag for that since it will easily carry all the ammo, extra mags, glasses and every other sort of need I may have without being too big or too bulky. It is slighly larger than most would consider for use as a BOB (Bug-Out Bag) but not by much. Easily one of the best bags I've seen at the range and I'm glad I bought it.

I'm a Bianchi Cup Action Pistol shooter. It's just the right size to carry around the range all day . It's built well and I especially like the coyote color . No more black or dark colored bags for me to try to find a small item hiding somewhere in the bag . The lighter color allows me to find small dark items faster and takes that much more stress out of the competition. You cannot beat the price when it's on sale.

This range bag is precisely what I needed. It's compact (has plenty of room for a couple handguns, some boxes of ammo, a small spotter scope, eyes-and-ears, plus with room to spare), has lots of compartments (many of them directly-accessible without first digging into other compartments), and is made of thick, durable materials with good-quality zippers (should last the ages!).

Researched it, and found that many others found this to be a great bag, too (check out all the YouTube videos that say the same...).

My old range bag (10+ years old) just wasn't working for me, so when I saw this one I decided it was time.

I wasn't disappointed! It was perfect for my needs, and the price was right.

I get a lot of use out of the zippered pocket with elastic magazine holders.

It is quite durable too and can carry a decent amount of weight.
