The MidwayUSA Gun Sock is a silicone-treated polyester sock that stretches over the length of a rifle or shotgun for a form-fitting solution for protecting your firearms from scratches, scuffs, and corrosion when not in use or while traveling when placed inside a hard case. The silicone treated polyester will not hold moisture making it ideal for travel in different climates as well as year-round storage. Features the MidwayUSA logo near the muzzle.

I love these Gun Socks!!! They are a cheap and easy way to keep your firearms protected when thay are in storage. Even though they are silicon treated it is still a good idea to make sure your firearm is well oiled if they are going to be stored for any length of time.

I've used these socks in the past and decided to order more since my collection has increased a bit. I love them and they work great keeping my guns from bouncing on each other in the safe and keeping moisture away. I am dissappointed in how they must s-t-r-e-t-c-h over AR-15 type rifles or rifles with scope and pistol grip combination. They seem to prefer thinner profile rifles. So, I put them on that type of rifle and I'm in the market for gun socks that will cover the AR's. Some of my firearms are stored for extended periods and I haven't witnessed any moisture retention as one of the reviewers stated. Great price when you buy pkg of 6. Fast delivery.

I started using the gunsocks several years ago for rifles stored near the coast in a marine environment. They gave excellent protection and a couple of guns actually looked better after storage in the silicone impregnated socks. All in all an excellent surface protection product.

Well made. Good price. Holding up well. Tight fit over some of my rifles / shotguns with pistol grips. Tactical version may be a better choice for guns with pistol grip. I'll buy more when I need them.

Decided to take a chance ...

Decided to take a chance on this product based on the low cost. I was pleased it fit over my Rem 870 which has both forend and stock pistol grips. I was also concerned the door buster would tear the fabric. It didn't. Very good product that served my needs.

Purchased a six pack of these socks to store hunting rifles and shotguns in the safe. I liked everything with the socks, but one was missing the draw cord. I called Midway and they're going to replace it. I would like to see a slightly longer sock to fit shotguns/muskets (54"- 56") with longer barrels.

Great gun socks. I bought 5 of these. They fit all my rifles and shotguns. If you have a scope on your gun, then I would recommend the MidwayUSA Tactical gun socks. These will work with a scope mounted, but they are a very tight fit.
