Bought 200 of these to ...

Bought 200 of these to try on my last 'Dog' hunt. They shot just as well as the V-Max's I had also loaded (24.8 gr. Varget for both) and I did not have to redial in my scope. For the price I will be loading these from now on. The 'Dogs' didn't notice any difference, but my wallet did.

I'm loading these in a 17 ...

I'm loading these in a 17 Fireball over H-322. I worked thru several powders and just couldn't get them to shoot. Finally found they are sensitive to seating depth. Ended up at 1.780 COL to get them to shoot. Once the seating depth issue was ironed out, they have worked out very well with H-322, but I've never had such issues with other bullets with finding a load that would work, thus the 3-stars rating. If you have the patience to work thru the nuances with this bullet and chambering these bullets will work out well. Most definitely capable of good 100 yard accuracy. Just takes patience.

Bought a box and loaded ...

Bought a box and loaded them in my .17 Remington, using the same powder loads as with my other 20 grain bullets. First three groups at 100 yards were half inch for three shots. Very nice.

I have tried at least 10 ...

I have tried at least 10 different bullet types and weights. These DogTown 20 gr bullets give me the best groups of any bullets I have tried. I have even tried three different custom made boattail 17s. These 20 gr are giving .310" groups. This is from my Rem 700 LVSF.

I have loaded these ...

I have loaded these bullets in my 17 Remington Fireball and found them to be extremely accurate. I shot a big male coyote in the body to test how well they performed and he dropped dead at the shot.DRT= dead right there!!!

Got a 100 ct box of these ...

Got a 100 ct box of these yesterday. There were 101 pieces in the box. 55 pieces weighed 20.2 grains, 44 weighed 20.1 grains, 1 weighed 20.4 grains, and one weighed 6.8 grains (I assume it is just a jacket and no lead). I only measured diameter on 10, they were all 0.172". I haven't loaded them or shot them yet. As far as I'm concerned they weigh and measure real well. I trust that the 6.8 piece is rare.

This has been the most accurate bullet Ive found for my Dakota Predator 17 Fireball. Have used Vmax and Berger also but this has been the most accurate. H335 powder.
