This case is like what my ...

This case is like what my father used, and my grandfather before him. The soft liner doesn't scratch or snag on the sights. The outer canvas is tough but flexible, and the leather trim adds reinforcement where the muzzle would tend to wear through the case.Sometimes it's hard to get quality even if you're willing to pay for it, but Boyt cases are worth every nickel. I liked it so much, I bought two more.The trick with brass zippers is to lubricate them. The time-honored lubricant is candle wax, but stick lubricant works even better.

Outstanding construction ...

Outstanding construction and quality. I prefer this bag with the fabric strap over the same bag with the leather strap. Either way, great case that lasts forever.

Everything you'd want in ...

Everything you'd want in a soft case - durability, soft lining & tough exterior. They're a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. The Allen is a close match in quality & a lot cheaper. If you think you'll get wet or do some serious banging around, be smart & get waterproof or a hard case. If you don't need those, then buy one of these. The pocket on the side is convenient for about one box of rifle shells & then you run out of room.

Exactly as described. I got one of these gun cases for myself and then purchased 2 more for my family members. They are functional and very attractive looking. The side pocket is extremely handy. Don't buy a cheap knock off. This is well worth the extra money.

This case is well constructed. The only drawback is that the zipper is opposite the carrying handle. This causes the weight of the firearm to bear against the zipper when carried.

This is the second Boyt ...

This is the second Boyt soft rifle case I have bought. It is a step down from my first purchase. The biggest difference I see in this one is the lack of leather handle. I like leather but this case is just as durable and high quality as the other. The zippers never snag and you never have to worry about the interior being too rough on the gun's finish. I should rate it 5 star. It is compared to other cases but it is just not as nice as my other Boyt, but that is why it is cheaper, of course.

This is the absolute best soft case you can buy in this price range. Excellent craftsmanship that should last a lifetime. It does a great job protecting your firearm.
