I was disapointed that ...

I was disapointed that Darrel didn't cover truing the reciever threads to the bolt raceway by single point threading with the lathe. My main purpose for buying this video was to learn how to "pick up" the original reciever threads with the lathe tool bit. Darrel just runs a tap into the original receiever threads to clean them up.All the barrel machining lessons and information was worth the price though.

I was left feeling less ...

I was left feeling less than adequately informed especially on the head space section. Too often you wanted to see what was going on but his body blocked the view. Still glad I have the video and will watch some more to glean the most out of it.

This is an interesting ...

This is an interesting video, and I'm glad I got it.... but if I were hoping that I could watch it and then rebarrel a rifle without other knowledge, I'd probably be disappointed. The machinist skills required to do this job are advanced. The video does show the whole process, from squaring up the action, to lapping the bolt lugs, to reaming the chamber, machining for proper head space, installing a muzzle brake, etc. Its an interesting process, and there are lots of close ups. Occasionally it is hard to see because of lighting issues, or because of the difficulty of getting a good camera angle. Most of the time, the lighting and camera angle are both OK.The instructor assumes he is talking to an advanced audience with solid machinist skills. Having spent considerable time around machine shops, I was comfortable watching, but I do not consider my skills sufficient to go buy a barrel blank and "have at it." Maybe after I've watched it a few more times :-)....

Good video showing fine ...

Good video showing fine points that affect accuracy. However, a person would need prior experience with barrelling to get the most out of this video. I found the information useful.
