I had no issues with ...

I had no issues with different radii on each side of the part I received. I made my own jig to cut the frame of my Rock Island and only used the jig to get close then used the actual part to finish fitting the two pieces together. The end result fit very well and was much more comfortable than the GI setup. The finish was the only thing keeping this from 5 stars, it is a rougher surface finish almost like parkerizing rather than a polished blue.

I decided to try one of ...

I decided to try one of these this time on a SA Mil-spec build-up because of the name, and it looked a little more compact than the others, which it is. Bought 2 in fact. I used an Ed Brown jig and a bench grinder to get it close and finish it by hand. I should have tried the jig in the piece first. Radius proved to be less than .250 and not parallel on both sides of the ctr. piece that the thumb safety pin goes through. Had to remove considerably more metal and then fit each frame tang separately. It is also a little too narrow and has some side to side play in this frame. 2.5 hours later, the bottom fits well, but the top part of the tail that swoops down to blend with the top of the frame tangs has a little more than a 1/16" gap between the safety and the top of the frame tangs. Needless to say, I'm exchanging the second one for an Ed Brown. I'm going to have to try every other brand in this frame now and hope one of them is close enough to fudge because I had to take off more than .250 metal to get this to fit. It don't work in SA mil-spec frames.
