Mark III 22/45 - Mag now releases!

This was recommended to replace some components of my Ruger Mark III 22/45, so when you release the magazine, it drops more than 1/8 inch.
With the Mark II hammer bushing installed (which is not easy - check out Youtube for videos!!) now when you hit the mag release, it drops out as it should, all the way.

Installed an accurizing ...

Installed an accurizing kit without this hammer bushing and the trigger had creep and was really spongy because of the loose fit of the factory hammer bushing, so I installed this and the difference is unbelievable. If you are buying an accurizing kit make sure to buy one of these hammer bushings it will make a big difference in trigger feel. Also made a difference in my Mark 3 22/45 by eliminating the magazine safety and making the trigger crisper. I own 2 ruger 22 pistols with the accurizing kit and this bushing installed, the difference is amazing. It takes some patience to install all the parts but after you do once it becomes easier. I have installed several for my friends and I can now do it in 20 minutes. Just don't bend the sear spring way forward when you reinstall the safety or the trigger won't reset.

Yup, pretty much as everyone else said, it drops right into a mark III, mine specifically the 22/45. Eliminates the magazine disconnect safety feature as well as allows the mags to drop free. Probably the most economic investment in this gun that you can make.
