I purchased this Fobus ...

I purchased this Fobus Evolution Paddle Holster for my Glock 19 to be used for concealed carry. I am very satisfied with this product! The tension screw is perfectly placed and does not back out with use. This design is slightly butt forward, which I prefer for concealed carry. The only issue I have is, the holster does not completely protect the muzzle of the Glock 19. I like open ended holsters, but I prefer the sides to protect the full length of the slide. The muzzle of the G19 sticks out about one-half inch or so...it's not a huge issue but, I have to wear my pocket knife on my weak side to avoid scratching the muzzle. Other than that, it is very well made! The rubberized backing on the paddle keeps the holster in place under most circumstances. Furthermore, the paddle is reinforced with metal backing, which is certainly an improved design. I have used Fobus products daily for the past ten years as an off duty police officer and this holster is better than its predecessor.

Cant be beat for the ...

Cant be beat for the price.I first became aware of these when a friend used one for a 3 day pistol training class without a problem.I've been using these ever since (10 years),and have never broken one.You can't compare it with a holster that cost 3 times as much,but for a rugged,good fitting rig,these work great.

I liked the feel, draw, ...

I liked the feel, draw, and hold the Fobus had with my Glock 19. It fit well right behind my hip (about the 4:00) and contoured perfect leaving little to no print. The reason I scored this only two stars is because after a week of use I left wear/ a scrach on the slide of my Glock. I've had the weapon for about 6 months and have been using a cheap IWB untill I found something I realy liked. I do a weekly cleaning of the weapon because living in FL you get hot and sweat and never noticed a scrach till I changed to the Fobus and did the first cleaning after.

I ordered one for all my ...

I ordered one for all my glocks, one holster different models idea. Others who posted before me obviously had better luck with their holster. Fit all three glocks but even when I loosened the retention screw my G27 had a very tough time coming out even with the sharp draw required. I did better with the G19 and G22 but didn't beat the older gen 1 fobus I own. In addition the paddle had a tendancy to slip and pull out with the gun. No problem, I tried differnt belt/pant shorts combos thinking it might be the construction of the clothes I was wearing, same problem though. Would not buy again.

Wife and I love this ...

Wife and I love this product. I have a Glock 17, she has a Glock 19. We tailored the tension with the Tension adjustment screw to fit our personal preference. The holster fits securely in our waist band and the rubber back grips our hips. It has worked very well at the gun range. It is easy to put on/off, comfortable, and reliable. We find it to be very strong and durable. It has improved our draw speed. It will also hold our guns with the slide locked back. And it looks really nice!
