Trouble with most other ...

Trouble with most other cappers is that more time is spent loading the capper than either capping or shooting. Too much time is spent fighting to upright caps that fall over inside the capper. Not the case with this model. I've used both #10 & #11 caps & all load & feed smoothly. Remington #10 caps have that irregular edge & may bind a little, but they still feed without jamming or falling over. This capper looked initially as being too cheap to have 2 spring cap holders, but the single spring design is an advantage. Sometimes simpler is better & also, unlike the capper having a single spring steel cap holder end assembly, you can use this capper right down to the last cap - the other design won't stage or dispense the last 4 caps.

Perfect for .44 cal BP ...

Perfect for .44 cal BP revolvers. #11 caps are so small that this device sometimes has a difficult time keeping all the caps in line. However it's much, much, much easier than using your fingers to place the caps on the nipples.

Great little product is a must-have to cap revolvers. Kinda hard to load for an old man with big fingers but beats needle nose pliers for placing caps. Worth twice the price.

This capper isn't perfect. It can be clumsy to use, caps can roll onto their sides...pretty much the usual problems that run with all of the many cappers I've seen. It's about as good as the best of the other cappers, which isn't great, but this one costs only about half of what the others cost and it's as good. I really recommend getting this one.
