This replacement magazine is a factory original from Kimber. Factory replacement parts are manufactured to the exact same specifications and tolerances and use the same manufacturing materials as the original parts which guarantees excellent fit and reliable operation.

Keeping a few extra factory magazines around is never a bad idea; extra magazines save loading time at the range and also serve as a backup for those days when you simply cannot remember where you put your primary magazine.

Have the one that came with the conversion kit plus three more. All have worked without a problem after jointly going through approximately 3000 rounds.

It works, BUT it's plastic so it won't drop free of the pistol (you have to pull it out) and it won't lock the slide back after the last round. Go check out the GSG mags, they're vastly superior.

Reliable and excellent feeding on my Marvel conversion. Don't have to worry about bending the lips. I have thousands of rounds on them without any failures.

The Marvel conversion does not lock open on the last round so that is not an issue. I shoot Bullseye so the magazine dropping out is not important.

However, The magazine is slightly wider than the metal ones and there may be a little trigger stirrup drag giving an inconsistant trigger pull. A little polishing got rid of it.

Maybe I'm "cheating" when using this product as I use them (I have 2) in conjunction with a Kimber .22rf/1911 conversion kit installed on a llama botton. They function flawlessly and I have yet to have a malfunction of any kind attributable to the magazines. I won't hestitate to buy more in the future.

I have 6 of these mags, two came with my used Kimber Conversion kit and I bought 4 more from Midway. I have shot each magazine a few times and they seem to work fine. I did have some hic-ups at a Steel Challenge Match and the RO suggested down-loading to 9 rounds which seemed to help. This may or may not have been a magazine issue as the .22 unit on a non-dedicated frame and the .22 ammunition could have just as easily been the problem. Good mag for the price, but I do wish it was 12 round capacity.

I used the clip about five times before it made my 1911 jam twice in a row, I will not use it again. This is a unreliable product.
