Great for target ...

Great for target practice. Very accurate in my Kimber. It could use a little more velocity to ensure proper slide function in guns with a heavy recoil spring.

Accurate enough but seems rather smoky to me and seems to leave much more crud in the gun than other brands. At 450 fpe this is more of a hot 40S&W than a real 10mm load which should be in the 600fpe+ area.

I bought these 10 mm ...

I bought these 10 mm bullets and was disappointed because of how underpowered they actually are. To give a good idea of how underpowered they are grab a box of Federal FMJ 9mm and the box says the muzzle energy is 1125 w/ 323 ft-lbs while this 10 mm load is 1030 w/ 425 ft-lbs. Personally I'd rather have the 9mm because it was obvious this round is terribly underpowered when shot.

Biggest waste of money in ...

Biggest waste of money in my opinion. As one reviewer already stated, these are extremely underpowered loads. Basically, you're getting the performance of a .40S&W load at $30 per box - no, thank you. I think I'll stick to Remington UMC and pay a couple bucks less for a far superior 10mm load.

I've had no problem ...

I've had no problem firing this ammo in my Glock 29 with a strong weaver stance. In shooting same side arm my father stove piped 9 out of 10 in a weak wristed, isosceles stance. Change to weaver stance and lock out those elbows and wrists if you think theres an ammo problem!

Although Federal American ...

Although Federal American Eagles are generally my preferred non-competition target/plinking round (compared to UMC, Winchester USA/white box, Speer Lawman, and so forth), in 10mm I grade them as only mediocre. Accuracy, reliability and cleanliness are satisfactory -- even good -- however, this load is significantly UNDERPOWERED for a 10mm, providing only .40 S&W level performance. In my opinion, that is a major deficiency. With substantially greater muzzle velocity and energy, this round could be upgraded to four or five stars.

This is probably the most accurate load for my Kimber Target II and these serve as a basis for my handloads. A solid bullet at relatively low velocity works well in small game!

Bought two boxes of this ...

Bought two boxes of this for my new G20. After 30 rounds I had several FTFs. The brass seems good for reloading, but Federal seems to load them pretty light (more like .40 S&Ws). I'd stick with Remington's offerings.

This ammo was OK at best. ...

This ammo was OK at best. Accuracy was acceptable in my Glock 20, but not as good as others. The cases bulged more than other brands as well-this is important if you plan to reload. Although this is common with Glocks, it was much more pronounced with this ammo. Recoil was mild due to the reduced load, only 1060ft/s for a 180gr bullet. The ammo is also a bit pricey compared to other brands that outperform it.

I did not like this load. ...

I did not like this load. Lot's of stoppages and crushed cases and brass deposits on the ejection port in my Kimber due to low power. Remington UMC works better.
