These extraordinary loads combine the legendary Sierra MatchKing bullet with Federal's proven quality standards and stringent manufacturing controls to create a round that is as accurate as a match load, but available from the factory.

Sierra MatchKing bullets have very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.

I started handloading for my OLD model 740 .30-06 many years ago and discovered the 168gr Sierra MatchKing bullet was perfectly suited to my rifle. After shooting the Federal Premium with the same bullet, I have found I can still cut a ragged single hole with 3 shots. My rifle is truly finnicky and this is the only ammo I've found that will do that.
Nearly 100 deer -- mostly large mulies, half a dozen antelope, dozens of coyotes, dozens of jack rabbits, and literally hundreds of prairie dogs have demonstrated the accuracy and effectiveness of this bullet and load. ALL 1 shot instant kills. Longest was a trophy mulie at 850 yd; right behind the shoulder on broadside and exit wound the size of two fists and he dropped instantly.

1 pronghorn, 2 Coues whitetails, 2 Texas whitetails, 2 hogs, 1 javelina....It's super accurate and low recoil. I only shoot about 25 practice rounds a year total and have complete confidence in this ammo.

This ammo is sub MOA out of a Rem 700BDL and has cleanly killed 3 deer with one shot kills. I highly recommend it for those who do not hand load their own ammo.

This ammo was very accurate. Out of a simple hunting rifle, My best group was less than .75" at 100 yards, with normal hunting ammo around 1" to 1.25" at 100 yards.

My Rem 700BDL SS w/fluted bbl shoots 3/8" groups at 100 yds. (Actually got one three shot one hole group once) and less than 1" at 225 yds. Simply the best stuff I ever ran through it. Buy cheaper stuff for hunting if you want, but if you are shooting paper, you won't find anything better.

I took a few boxes of this Ammo. to the range with me today to sight in my Remington 700 SPS, with a Harris Bi-pod. This is extremely accurate Ammo, with 3 rounds in 1 hole at 50 Yrds. and 3 shot clover leaf holes a 100 Yrds. It seems reasonable to expect sub MOA groups out to close to 200 Yrds. or more, but I have yet to find a range that long to confirm for myself. This Ammo. is also very easy to clean up after a full day of shooting, dry patches run through the barrel remove a lot of the fouling that some other rounds leave and some times take a lot of scrubbing to get out. The recoil was about average for this caliber, so to sum, this is extremely accurate, very clean and comes with an average recoil. Bottom line this Ammo. is almost impossible to beat for the price when you are punching holes in paper.
