ATTENTION! This s a limited production load from Federal. There is a possibility that the cartridges will be nickel plated instead of brass.

These extraordinary loads combine the legendary Sierra MatchKing bullet with Federal's proven quality standards and stringent manufacturing controls to create a round that is as accurate as a match load, but available from the factory.

Sierra MatchKing bullets have very thin jackets and are held to exacting tolerances in diameter and weight. Their accuracy has been acclaimed worldwide and they have been used to win more target competitions than all target bullets from other manufacturers combined. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.

Best Bang for the Buck ...

Best Bang for the Buck Precision Ammo on the Market. Consistently shoots .75"-1.0" 200 Yard Groups from my Sako 85 Varmint. Transonic performance is good as well. I have had this ammunition on target out to 1186 yds. Well worth the money.

Set-up was a Kimber ...

Set-up was a Kimber Advanced Tactical 308 with my NXS Nightforce. Less than 1/2" moa at 100 yards. Move to 450-yard small metal body target with a 10 to 15 mile cross wind. Wow this ammo is just fun to shoot. If there is better factory ammo I can't wait to find it.

I will also say that this is the best ammo for my Remington 700 5R Milspec. Today I shot a .57" group at 100 yards from the prone position. I had better results with this ammo vs. the 175 grain offering from Black Hills. This is my load.

Best ammo out of my gun. ...

Best ammo out of my gun. Rem 700 20" barrel. As John said 168gr is good but for me the 175gr is much tighter at long range. Tried various ammo but this is the best hands down. I wouldn't use anything else.

There is no reason to look any further for rifle ammo as this is the ONLY thing you should put down range! Amazing accuracy and consistency. I can easily shoot 1/4 to 1/2 MOA with this!

This ammo will make you look like a hero. Constant sub MOA and usually sub 1/2 MOA (yes, really) out of my 5R mil-spec. Tried the 168 gr as well but these grouped tighter. Best .308 round on the market. period.

I conducted an ammo test ...

I conducted an ammo test consisting of 3-shot groups fired at 100 yards on a bench rest. The rifle used was a CZ 550 Varmint Kevlar .308 with a 26 blued chrome-moly barrel with a 1:12 twist. The ammo was tested over two different days with varying wind conditions and was shot in a random order. A dry patch was run after every 3-shot group. The results are as follows with the average, best and worst groups listed, measured center to center.1. Winchester Supreme Match 168 gr. HPBT avg. 1.328, best 1.070, worst 1.6342. Black Hills Match 175 gr. HPBT avg. 1.742, best 1.107, worst 2.3203. Federal GMM 168 gr. HPBT avg. 1.147, best 0.757, worst 1.4164. Federal GMM 175 gr. HPBT avg. 0.873, best 0.641, worst 1.1835. Hornady TAP 168 gr. Ballistic Tip avg. 0.970, best 0.601, worst 1.313As you can see my results surprisingly show the FGMM 175 gr. performed the best all around followed closely by the Hornady TAP. I was surprised that a Ballistic Tip could keep up with HPBT match ammo. Although the TAP resulted in the smallest group, the Winchester yielded the only same hole group. This 175 gr. ammo is super, I can't wait to try it out at longer ranges.

This ammo was used in the ...

This ammo was used in the second shot string after Barrel break-in on my new Savage 12FVSS. This rifle has a 26" barrel with a 1:10 twist. At 100 yards I fired three shots, I pulled the first one, and shots 2 and three cut the same hole to bring the group to just under 1/2 inch. I will definitely use this load again when testing out to longer ranges.
