Good idea, poor ...

Good idea, poor execution. I agree with the others. Undersized. With one patch, it is very loose in bore, but I can't get 2 down. With 2 patch, my ball bearing cleaning rod does not even rotate and follow the twist of the barrel. I only tried it because the std 270 jag was out of stock. Go with the standard.

I've been less than ...

I've been less than impressed by this cleaning jag. In my 7x57 it is very loose and I have to use two patches to get the kind of feel I like when swabbing with copper solvent. Additionally, it does not have any designation imprinted on the shank so I have had to come up with a way to differentiate this from my .257 & .308 cal jags. The protective coating does live up to its claim, however, as I use some pretty potent copper solvent and don't have problems with the "false positives" you get from bare brass jags.

My favorite jags for ...

My favorite jags for using copper solvents. Does require 2 patches (Hoppes), but that is not a problem for me as this allows for more solvent and absorbancy-and besides the patches always want to peel off the cut stack in 2's. Many other jags I have used often varied in how tight they fit the barrel also.
