Installed this kit along ...

Installed this kit along with a RAM on a M&P 9 with a threaded barrel. The videos from Apex's website are helpful, but be patient because you have to watch various videos to get all of the needed information. Overall it was a pretty easy installation. One thing to be mindful of is the plug that replaces the safety lock. If this plug is not completely flush, it will hinder re-installing the sear block housing. Once everything was installed, trigger pull was a very nice 2.5 lbs. Took this gun to the range and it was outstanding! Recommend this kit to anyone who wants a 2.5 lb trigger pull and more positive reset.

I recently purchased an M&P 9mm for tactical competition. Overall the pistol felt great in hand and pointed well but the trigger was a little on the heavy side for me. As advertised, the kit took the trigger pull from just over 5 lbs to just over 3. Installation wasn't the easiest process considering the kit comes with no instructions but you can find plenty of helpful videos on YouTube and the APEX website. Be very careful when removing the original sear, there is a microscopic sear spring and pin underneath it! Very pleased with the finished project, took about two hours to complete.

Just bought a S&W M&P .40 ...

Just bought a S&W M&P .40 and decided to try to improve the trigger by installing this kit. Trigger pull stock was over 5 lbs. First thing about this kit is no instructions. Not to panic, though, as the Apex website has very good videos detailing the installation of all the components. Watch the videos before attempting installation. The areas I had difficulty with were stretching the trigger return spring enough to get the retaining pin through, getting the minute sear plunger onto the minute spring and keeping them in place while installing the sear pin, and installing the sear group module into the frame. I have an ambi safety so I needed to insert a pin punch into the retaining pin hole to keep things aligned while installing the retaining pin. You can do it, just be patient and use good lighting. My trigger pull now is just under 3 lbs. I feel the Apex parts are a tad expensive for what you get and installation isn't a piece of cake but I'm glad I made the change. Apex should note in the packaging to go to their website for installation assistance.
