9 rounds, not 10. ...

9 rounds, not 10. Difficult to load until you understand how the follower moves in the mechanism. Until then, you can spend some time being baffled by the machine. Magazines ran without a hitch using a bunch of different .22 loads I've had laying around for 20 years (new stuff worked, too.) Mags fit nicely into the Sig 516 lower and also a New Frontier poly lower, dropping clear upon release. Overall a good product, but when new, a 9-round mag, not 10.

This magazine was very hard to push into the well and does not drop. A feed problem seem to be developing as well as all my duds are coming out of this magazine. Sorry, but no biscuit for blackdog this time.

I had a 100% failure to eject using the Ciener magazine that came with my .22 adapter, but only when I shot offhand resting the gun on its magazine on my palm (the way I shoot offhand). Plus, the Ciener magazine doesn't really feel right when you do that because the shape is so different. The Black Dog magazine solved both those problems. The geometry is right, and it has no problems feeding at all. I can finally use my Ciener to practice offhand.

An excellent magazine, it is very well made. I use it with a Ciener conversion in a Bushmaster AR-15. It never fails to feed and is easy to load. It is nice since it has the fit and feel of a full size mag.
