This is a great product that looks good and is well made It stays put in your pocket. I raised the ambi-flap just a little to conceal the Ruger LCP completely in my pocket. I also added a Crimson Trace Lasergrip to my LCP and purchased two DeSantis Mag Packer Pocket Magazine Pouches. I then opened up the upper section of each pouch by removing the stitching and then had my wife sew the ends to keep the opening just right for an additional magazine. This way I can carry 2 LCP magazines in each pouch. I carry only Hornady's new Critical Defense 90gr FTX. The 380ACP cartridge might be a little on the light side verus other larger perferred cartridges, but I feel comfortable with 31 rounds of Hornady's 380ACP.

On a positive note, ...

On a positive note, surface texture is sticky enough to prevent holster drawing with the gun.Other than that, I am very dissappointed with this product and wish I had not made the purchase. This holster is extremely thick, preventing its intended use as a concealment holster. The holster alone is far wider than the firearm it was intended to hold, making it completely useless. The material itself is intolerably bulky, but the outlining trim piece is worse. I do not know what the manufacturer was thinking. It is suppose to facilitate "pocket carry". To use this would be like carrying a giant block in your pocket. Therfore DeSantis failed to meet its intended design goal.This is very unfortunate, since the build quality and texture are satisfactory.To this day I have not used the product due to these inadequacies. I do hate to sound so negative and give such a poor review. Unfortunately, I'm just to busy a consumer to return products that require shipping.

Best choice for LCP w/Crimson Trace

Purchased this to replace another DeSantis pocket holster, after I fitted my LCP with a new Crimson Trace laser. Fits the gun perfectly, and allows me to draw the weapon without trying to drag my entire pocket inside out. Covers the trigger assembly completely while the weapon is inside the pocket, which keeps you from doing Dumb Things while you are drawing and presenting the weapon.

It is not a 'quick draw' type of holster - it is designed to hold the gun in your pants without looking like you have a gun in your pants. The larger flap (in the background of the catalog picture) is attached to the leading edge of the holster with a long strip of Velcro, and can be reversed for left or ride side carry. It does take a little time to 'break-in' the fit, but no more than any other pocket holster.

All in all, this is an exceptional value, and I recommend it to anyone who intends to carry an LCP with the Crimson Trace laser mounted.

I've had several pocket holsters and this is by far the best for my needs. The extra flap is removable if you aren't worried about the profile of your gun in your pocket. I've read one negative review about the gun, and honestly, I think the reviewer should have done their homework before buying this holster. They simply bought the wrong holster for their needs. This holster allows you to draw the gun without pulling out the holster too, and also keeps the profile of the gun from showing through your pocket. I love it!!!

Excellent holster for my LCP w/Crimson Trace Laser.At first comparison with my old pocket holster, it looked kind of big. Then I wore it. It conceals better, sits well in my pocket and grips like glue to my pocket while providing easy withdrawl. Re-holstering at break -in requires you to remove the holster. Great home for your back-up.

I bought one of these holsters 3 months ago for my LCP380.This holster works exactly as it is described.The flap does an excellent job of concealing the guns silhouette and in no way inter fears with drawing it out.It stays in place perfectly in my pocket. In all I have to say it is the best holster of it's kind that I have used!

Excellent holster. You would never believe someone is carrying concealed because it does not print at all. It just looks like a wallet. It holds the weapon well, yet allows for easy, full grip retrieval. It's also well made and durable.

This is my first pocket holster, I have been carrying it with my LCP in it for about 2 months now. At first it felt a little bulky with the flap on, but after a few days the flap molded around the contour of my pocket & the bottom of the gun.(I am a lefty so i carry it in my front left pocket all day at work or anywhere else i go just make sure you have a tight belt) It feels like a big cell phone and is very well concealed. Only one problem is that some of the stitching is starting to fray from taking the holster in and out of my pocket thats why I give it 4 stars.

Just received my Super Fly pocket holster for the Ruger LCP. It's well constructed and fits the gun with Crimson Trace Laser Guard very well. The flap does a great job of perventing printing of the firearm and the holster stays in the pocket great with just a little pressure against the outside of the pocket when presenting the gun. I saw one comment that the holster is wrapped in paper indicating that it won't stay sticky. While I can't speak to whether it will retain its stickiness the enclosed instructions indicate that the paper is used to prevent damage to the holster by the plastic ziplock it comes in. (Also where it is recommended to store the holster when not in use.)Overall a great product. I will try to update this after I've used it for a while.

Good product, a little pricey but does the job. I had the Nemesis version until I got the Crimson Trace unit and had to get a new holster for the P3AT so I went with the Super Fly. It is well constructed and so far seems to be holding up well. I carry it in my back pocket just like a wallet and that is what it feels like. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a pocket holster.
