I couldn't wait for this scope to get in stock and I was not disappointed. I put it on my heavy barreled 308 Savage and it only took two shots to get it sighted in. After that I shot the box test and it tracked well. The turrets have a nice audible clicks. The power ring and side focus are smooth. The clarity was great, but the eye relief did get short at 24 power. Overall I think it is a great scope and will probably get another one.

Distilled water became stagnant!

I was in love with the scope before ordering and just after receiving. Looks awesome and had the features I wanted...30mm tube for 1000 yards shot, target turrets, side mount parallax adjustments and good power. Then I received it, played with the adjustments, turrets "CLICK", side focus is smooth and firm and the image is clear. The magnification ring is the problem...It was gritty, stiff and hesitant between power ranges. Figured it's new and cheap, just needs a little break in...After mounting I look through the scope and see a MASSIVE crack across the entire FOV, like a rock against a windshield. Since then (about ~20 hours) the crack has gotten worse and has blocked the entire FOV making the scope a big aluminum tube. No way I'm getting another BSA product, especially when they have stickers on the scope and box saying "Quality Assured."

I put this scope on my rem. 700 30-06. Sight it in till I finally hit paper and I'm completely out of left windage adjustment. I'm still an inch right of bullseye. Spend hours trying to work it out. Finally broke down and called BSA. Gamo picks up, yes the air gun company. (not cool). Their only answer was to send it in and replace it. Thats great! But that should never have to be. Shot 40 bucks in ammo. Another 12 in shipping. Wish I just payed more for another scope.

Shipped quickly to my place, put it on my Rem 700 .308 bolt action and I can shoot a 1" group at 100 yards consistently using 168 grain bullets. Focus is great, zoom is excellent. Clarity is great, i really don't like going to a different scope because its just not the same. Would definitely buy more for future rifles...

Very good for the money

I just bought two of these. One I mounted on a target/varmint AR-15. I zeroed it yesterday and the scope did very good. The image gets darker at 24x but that is to be expected. The side focus works great and the turrets feel good when making adjustments. I have not mounted the second scope yet. It will go on a bull barrel 220 Swift to replace an old 6-18x Redfield. I am not sure when the Refield was made but I know it was sometime before 1995. The BSA is a little clearer and brighter. Remember this is not a Leupold but it is very good for the money.

not good at all. poor light gathering, anything over 12-14x looks fuzzy no matter how you adjust the side focus. I would save my money for a Nikon or a Burris. I have both and in only a 40mm bell and they are tons brighter and clear to max magnification.

I have had very good luck with mine. I needed a scope for my new toy, a Ruger 10/22Target I bought before Christmas. Midway had them for$129 as an introductory special. I took a chance and ordered one. When I got it I was impressed. The glass was better than I expected, and the rest of the seemed well made. I did NOT like the rings that came with it, being that they seemed way too flimsy for a Big scope like this. I ordered some Weaver Tactical rings from Midway and they are a good match for this scope. Once I got to the range, it was on the paper without even bore sighting it. After a few adjustments it zeroed in and has kept it rock solid. The clicks from the adjustments are fairly solid but Very Precise. At 25 and 50yds it is great at 8x and at 100yds I only crank it up to 18x.With a little practice using the MilDots I could ring the steel at 300yds.Anything I buy in the future will have to be at least as good as this. I am tempted to mount this on my 30-06 to see if it will hold up with the recoil. Great Deal from Midway and BSA!

This scope is best bang for your buck!!!!! I put this on my Savage MK-II Target .22 and I was VERY IMPRESSED!!!! I let my friend shoot with it who has Leupolds and Nightforce scopes and he liked it so much that he bought one from his IPhone while we were still at the range. Very clear optics, great product BSA!!!! Thank you for selling it Midway!!!!!!

I have found the rear ...

I have found the rear reticle glass to be loose on all three of my scopes. Check yours out. They still work fine but I will have to send them back to be fixed. They are clear and bright the dials work good. I hunt and target shoot with these scopes. Until I get them fixed I would not take them out in bad weather.
