Product Information

The Badger Ordnance FTE Muzzle Brake is a clamp on style brake that is easy to remove for cleaning or installation of a Suppressor. The FTE Muzzle Brake directs muzzle blast through ports to the sides which reduces ground blast and visual signature. This is one highly effective brake.

This is one seriously ...

This is one seriously effective brake. I installed it on a 300 WinMag to help with target reacquisition. It effectively reduced felt recoil down to below what a 308 Win feels like. I'm not very recoil sensitive anyway but it sure is nice being able to stay on target after the impulse subsides. The ability to remove it for cleaning or hunting is a huge bonus. No timing issues, no cheater bars through the baffles for leverage, just one set screw to tighten/loosen the collar clamp and off I go. Bottom line: This brake is awesome! I'd buy several more if I could but my next brake will have a suppressor wrapped around it! I'd suggest having your gunsmith make you a couple thread protectors when you have your barrel threaded (maybe a few...they're small and easy to misplace). They'll save the day (and your threads) if you slip and fall and protect it from your buddy's careless handling, or if you intend to shoot where brakes aren't permitted.
