The Pact Club Timer 3 is uniquely designed and shaped to fit the hand so that the buzzer and microphone are unobstructed, and the ergonomic buttons are recessed to prevent accidental activation. This timer features a sealed conductive rubber keypad, corrosion proof contacts and a big custom display. Simultaneously displays shot number, split time and total time. Features 100-shot memory with automatic data compression, par time and automatic battery saver. Also offers a loud buzzer with a low frequency which results in a clear, less harsh tone that is more comfortable to participants and spectators. Weighs 5 oz. Even for older eyes and ears, this unit is very easy to see and hear. The unit does have a simple metal belt clip that works well. It also has a sensitivity adjustment in the form of a small screw in the battery compartment. A little adjustment changes sensitivity a lot, so it is a good idea to mark the factory setting (paint on tooth pick) before changing anything. I needed to make mine less sensitive for indoor shooting by turning the screw counter clockwise. Ive got mine set so it very rarely picks up anyone elses gun but always records mine. It is very, very simple to use, so simple that the instructions are on a single piece of paper. The guys I shoot with were all able to time each other after a few seconds of instruction. I use it for dry fire (par time setting) by putting a foam earplug in the buzzer hole to reduce the sound level so I dont disturb others in the house. I called the manufacturer to ask about the sensitivity adjustment. The guy who answered the phone immediately told me what I needed to know. The call only took a minute or two. I was not placed on hold or transferred or required to push buttons or talk to a mechanical voice. The box says MADE IN USA. I love this timer!

Am revising my rating up one star. I played with it enough that I can now get it to do what I need it to do. But for months I tried to set the 'delay' for the buzzer only to finally realize that it doesn't change. When that became clear, the other problems disappeared. The instructions led me to think that the length of time delay for the buzzer was adjustable.

I have had this for 3 hrs. And cannot figger out how to make it work? It talks about PAR time but does not say what it is?? I cannot set a random start time (as far as I can see) I was hoping for something I could run without a 14 year old showing me how to do it.... This is not it. I can't send this back fast enough and find something better.

Bought this for the Ruger ...

Bought this for the Ruger Rimfire Challange. It times fine for pistols but will not time rifles accurately. Sent back to PACT and it was "overhauled" to no avail. Not worth the money as it does not work. I do not recommend purchasing this item.

We got this for steel challenge, quit working in the middle of the match within 20 minutes of use. Timer stopped from its own buzzer which the instructions says "We sometimes have problems with buzzer stopping the timer" Perhaps they should let people know that BEFORE purchasing that its often defective.

We have used this timer for different training drills and it seemed to work just fine. The problem occurred when the buzzer stopped working. I called PACT and arranged for it to be sent in for repair. They had my timer for almost 2 months. I called them several times to check on the status and the usual answer was..."It' at the techs, I'm not sure whats going on with it". Not happy with the service from PACT. Buyer beware.

Easy to use and well ...

Easy to use and well made. The size was a little larger then I expected but fits in your hand great and the LCD display is easy to read the digits.The only issue I have is the metal belt clip does not fit my double layer gun belt. You know the belt you wear when you would use this product. As an interesting note I did find it to work with those high-end gas airsoft pistols if you hold the timer even with the muzzle and about 2 feet to the side. So you can practice your draw and fire time at home to get even more use out of the timer. Well worth it if you use it.
