The Nighthawk Custom flat mainspring housing is an excellent replacement part for some 1911s out there today that may not come from the factory with a steel mainspring housing. Available with 25 LPI checkering or a scalloped pattern, Nighthawk Custom Mainspring housings allow the shooter to get a good solid grip.
