I have one on a G26 9mm4 magazine, and I can get 12 rounds in just fine. Seems to work fine with the factory 10-round spring too.The Glock +2 is a good bit larger than the Pearce +2, but I feel more confidant that this one won't cause a "speed unload." The Pearce doesn't seem like it will hold on as well. The Glock base even seems to be easier to load to capacity than the Pearce.

They do add two to all my 17 & 22 mags. but are a little tight on the 27, only allowing one. Too bad the inserts did not have the plastic tit that should engage the hole in the middle of the pad itself. I had one on a mag that wiggled, which did not impress me very much. If not for that I would have given them at least a 4 star rating. They do help with the pinky finger on the model 27 and make it much more fun to shoot. I have 2 Pearce + 2's that I bought in 2003, and they seem to be of better quality, which also surprises me.

Please read the fine print. You will need to purchase the retainer plates separately. Yes, you need them! I have tried it without them. The result ended in a mag dump in the middle of a stage. Nice!!!

These ABSOLUTELY require the Glock baseplate insert (separate item, part #SP07165) for reliability. There are comments here from others stating they didn't buy them, wanting to save the couple extra dollars. Folks, if you are carrying this as a self-defense or duty load, spend the extra few dollars and read how to install them correctly! I have in fact experienced a Glock factory magazine with this Glock factory baseplate minus the Glock factory insert actually explode into its disassembled pieces, spilling all rounds out the bottom just because it was dropped on a medium-hard surface. Use this as intended. Skip a soda and pack of twinkies and spend the extra couple dollars. Your family will thank you.

Great product I've purchased several of these and had no problem at all loading an additional two rounds in my G22 magazines. I even put one on a twenty-two round G22 magazine and made it hold twenty four. My guess is that those who can't fit the additional two rounds in lack the strength required to do so.

Bought 10 and happy with the grip extension aspect on my G23. BUT with the inserts, which are stated to be required, I get zero + in my G23 40 cal mags, I'm going to reconfig these without the base insert. In my mags for 9MM I get +1, the added depth is not what I'd hoped for. At the price, these need to work as intended.

I'm only rating it a 4 star only because I have not shot my G17 with the product installed.In fairness to the product (Glock brand), I used it on a Kahn magazine with the stock spring and floor plate. I had to enlarge the notches in the base slightly only to get it to slide and lock properly on the magazine. The detent in the base did not line up with the floor plate. Again, I'm mixing manufacturers. Good news is the mag now holds an extra 3 rounds for a total of 20 + 1 in the chamber.

I have several of these base pads (and the previous design, which was more "blocky"). They have all worked 100% on my G17 and my G22 magazines. I use them WITHOUT the retaining plate - this saves me a couple of bucks, allows more space for the extra rounds, and makes it easier to remove the base pad without a tool. I have run them this way for 15 years and never had one break loose.

Good quality but only a +1 extension for my Glock 22 mags, and it made the spring feel very squishy to the point where I feel I need to range test it before carrying it.... if it had gotten me a +2 it would have been a 4 star.

They install easy, and for me they work well on the 17/22/34/35/19/23 size mag's as a legitimate +2 base. On the 26/27 it's hit or miss depending on how stiff the Mag' Spring is whether +1 or +2. Only downside I've found is with disassembly which is just a tad more complicated than the flat base and stock insert.
