Product Information

The standard Timney Trigger Pull Gage features measurements in Kilograms and Pounds. The Kilogram side measures from .23kg to 4.54kg in .055kg increments. The Pound side measures from 8oz to 10lbs in 2oz increments. For use, insert trigger pull gage finger in front of the trigger and pull on the rear handle of the gage. As more pressure is exerted against the trigger pull finger, the sliding indicator will move towards the heavier side of the scale; once the disconnector disengages the sear the sliding indicator will remain at the point at which the highest amount of pressure was exerted on the trigger finger. The sliding indicator will then indicate the trigger pull weight.

I bought the Timney Trigger Pull Gage along with my first Timney Trigger. The trigger pull gage helped me set up the new trigger to 2-1/2 lbs. The gage was accurate when checked against other known weights. It was easy to use and a great value. After checking the pull weights on all my rifles it explains the light trigger pull/tight group relationship. I would highly recommend this gauge to anyone who has a trigger that can be adjusted without a trip to the gunsmith. Follow the firearms instructions, use the gauge and safety check the firearm. You will be pleased with the results on paper and in your freezer.

Great for use with ...

Great for use with handguns, although if the trigger rod were longer one could achieve more of a straight-back pull on rifles. Seems to give accurate and repeatable results.

I purchased the Timney Trigger Pull gage to measure and adjust my triggers. I specifically utilized it to perform a trigger job on my LRB M14. It worked perfectly and was spot on. I would highly recommend to anyone working on adjusting triggers, performing their own trigger jobs, or simply to verify & check the trigger break on their firearms.

Works as designed. The little sliding indicator thingies is the bomb-diggity. Thanks to it you can hold the gauge and the firearm in the most comfortable position possible and concentrate on your pull without having to keep an eye on the meter. Then when the hammer falls just release tension on the gauge and look at the meter and see where the plastic thingies stopped. Awesome!

Incredible little devise and very repeatable, I made measurements on my Keltec PF9 and got the same results 5 times in a row! Actually no need for the average feature on the more expensive electronic model not with this kind of accuracy. Just wish the little cross bar you pull was a tad longer other then that it's just perfect!!

I checked the accuracy of the readings and they are consistently 3 ozs shy of actual. Not a problem once you know how much to add or subtract. For the money, a good deal.
