Clear resolution with no color washout at highest magnification. Fast focus eye-piece is a definite plus. Light and compact compared to similar models. Well worth the money.

I got this scope to shoot long range matches with my AR. I was initially impressed with the size, quality and features of this scope. I love the fast focus eye piece too. I put a few rounds thru it to zero and then reset the turrets to "zero", love that feature BTW! Went to a match after only 60 rounds thru it and before I ever fired a shot noticed a small "ring" floating around inside of the scope. I tried letting the debris settle out of the way so I could still shoot the match, it was still zeroed, but the trash keep getting it the way. Sent it back for replacement. I actually loved the scope, just wish it was built a little better.

As some others have mentioned, nice scope (when it worked) with good features, but very poor quality construction. After about 70 rounds of 308 Winchester the reticle adjustments proved to be at first shaky and then inoperative.

I got this scope to use on my AR for long range match shooting (600 yds). I love the features and quality of the glass, even at 21X, but after 54 rounds through it I went to use it one day and had a thin circular piece loose inside the scope. I tried to tilt the scope upwards and tap it back out of the way, no luck it kept bouncing around inside. Looks like this one is going back for service. Now I have 3 Simmons scopes, 22Mag, 8-point 3-9X40 and the 44Mag, so I like their scopes obviously, but am thinking twice about them now. No one else has scopes with these features for the price as Simmons, just wish the quality was better.

I mounted this scope on a single shot rossi 243 rifle and cranked it up to 21 power and shot a woodchuck at 751 yds. Do I need to say more!!!

I bought this scope for ...

I bought this scope for my Savage Model 116 30-06 and love it. Very easy to adjust and setup. The side focus has yardage marked facing you and if guess your target at certain distance, just turn side focus to the yardage and your ready to shoot clearly. Very nice scope for the price. The other reviewers are right on with the brightness and clarity through out the full magnafication.

I just built a low budget ...

I just built a low budget 6BR using a Stevens action and a take off barrel that John Pierce had and put one of these scopes on it. It works very well. Nice and clear even at full power. Adj. very well and holds zero. Hard to beat for the money and as always fast service from Midway. Like this scope a lot!!

I have mounted one each ...

I have mounted one each of the 44 Mag models on my Rem 25-06 and Savage 270. Easy to dial in beyond bore sighting. Great optics for the spend. This is my first go around with mil-dots. So far so good (on the range at 300 yards). We will see how they both work in Montana this october when Antelope season starts. Most of my scopes in the past have been Nikon's. My two 44 Mag Simmons 6 X 24 vari are priced much better for my optic needs, comparatively.

I am surprised and amazed ...

I am surprised and amazed of the quality of this scope, especially on high magnification! It is clear all the way to 21 power and overall performs wonderfully. I mounted on my flattop AR-15 and shoot dime sized groups. Great scope for the money.

Nice clear lightweight ...

Nice clear lightweight slender scope. Target turrets work great, I was thrilled. Had it mounted on my Remington LVSF in 204 I had great results at the range. Moved it to a 17 HMR only because the field of veiw was narrow for hunting, a little tight for moving shots. Great lightweight slender target scope, clear and accurate.

I would have given it 5 ...

I would have given it 5 stars, but I have to turn mine down to about 8 power to get the distance (c-t-c) between 2 dots to equal 1 mil. Based on my rough estimate the distance between dots at 100 yards and at 21 power is about 1.44 inches (or 3.6ish inches at 100 yards and at 21 power takes 2.5ish dots of hold-over). It seems to track good, clicks are nice, turrets can be zeroed with an allen wrench, optics are good enough for me, side focus works. Say what you want about Simmons, but I personally dig the QTA eyepiece...consistent 3.75 inches of eye relief throughout the magnification range. Can't beat it for the price, that's for sure!!
