Product Information

These firing pins are made with an aluminum alloy shaft that is permanently bonded to a steel firing pin point. The lighter weight reduces lock time by approximately 40%. Assemblies include a firing pin, firing pin spring, bolt shroud and cocking piece. Firing pins are also available separately. No gunsmithing required.

  • This firing pin assembly has a T-6 aluminum bolt shroud that is 60% lighter than the factory shroud. The firing pin assembly includes an extra power firing pin spring and a firing pin with a lightweight body and steel tip that greatly reduces lock time
  • The firing spring for this product is listed at 19 lbs.
  • ISS: Remington's Integrated Security System. The bolt has a J-shaped slot in a button that protrudes from the left rear of the bolt. A key inserts into the slot to turn the button and lock the action open.
