A screw is a screw I suppose. I wish Midway supplies more technical info about this, such as head thickness, on my Hogue grips, the heads protrude slightly past the grip. I had to drill the screw holes in the grips a bit so the heads wouldn't irritate me. Other than that, a screw is a screw.

As with all Ed Brown products comes packaged with a small Allen wrench for convenience. The screws are as close to perfection as possible with modern manufacturing techniques.The price is also more than reasonable considering the quality Ed Brown provides.I've built a number of 1911's over the years and used a lot of Ed Brown parts...not ONE has ever disappointed!

They look better in person than they do in the image. They were a fantastic accent to my blued Taurus PT1911 and black Hogue grips. They're very stoutly built. The head of the screw is very thick.
