This picatinny-style double rail mount allows for a scope to be mounted on an AK-47. It is constructed of machined aluminum and is adjustable to fit the majority of side rail variants. It features a quick detach lever for simple installation and removal.

Have never had much luck with optics mounted on AKs because they were not very well made or placed the optics too high. This is one is a keeper. It locks into place nice and tight. Cheek weld though not perfect is better than other mounts I have tried. I mounted an aimpoint on mine shot 3 30 rd. mags through my WSAR-10. The mount stayed locked into place. Easy to install with simple instructions. It is a good buy.

I bought one of these for a WASR-10, only to find that it wouldn't actually lock onto the side rail. No matter how much I tinkered with it, it wobbled around. In addition (as if that weren't enough), the top rail was offset to the left, not centered.Skip this thing and find a better mount.

its a great mount, it looks good fits great to my 1969 soviet ak. it would get five stars if the quick release worked better. I don't know if mine is broken or not but I have to un screw the tighteing bolt almost all the way to get the quick release to work.

Wow! Received my UTG 5'th Gen. Mount last Monday only 4 days after I ordered it from Midway! (Yeah)
Put it on my AK-74M tonight. Slid on smooth as silk the first time. Fit and alignment is nothing short of perfect. Straight down the bore. So gotta say I'm impressed. Took all of 30 seconds to slide it on and tighten it down. Yeah! That's the way it should be! Thanks Midway for this excellant product. I will recommend it to all my friends and total strangers for that matter. Good Job!

Rock solid on my SAIGA ...

Rock solid on my SAIGA 308. Have fired about 250 rounds with a fixed 4x scope on top of this mount and have not had it move. I have also removed the mount 4 times or so for cleaning and not had to re-zero. It sits too low to use open sights but if it were higher, it would be less accurate so if you want to use open sights, just quickly take it off.

value for my dollar, looks the part, and does the job, not for $179.99 but under $40.00. Oh you have to adjust the screw to set your desired locking tension, go snug check from there, less is more!

This fits very nicely on my Arsenal Saiga SGL21-61, I have a standard scope (3x-9 40mm) mounted on top and a thumb mounted laser on the side rail. .

Great attachment for my alr-105 a1 r. It holds a zero and fits very tight. It is just millimeters away from being a great item, as it is just a few millimeters too low to use the iron sights.

Great mount for wasr 10 63. If this mount doesn't fit, your side rail mount on the rifle is bad. Holds zero and very durable. Have shot 100 rounds, going from red dot to iron, and it has held zero. Also mine is centered down the bore, if yours doesn't, it is because the side rail on the rifle wasn't installed correctly. Thank you Midway USA

I just got home from the range and tested my new mount. Mounted on an Arsenal SGL-31 with a red dot I am very impressed with the quality and function of the mount. From 25 to 125 yards I was hitting what I was aiming at. Even after removing the scope three times it returned to zero. The only problem I had with the mount was the tension screw got a bit loose on me after about 150 rounds. I simply unlocked the mount and tightened finger tight with an additional maybe 1/4 turn with a Leatherman tool. Another 200 rounds went down range and the mount did not move in the slightest. This mount is highly recommend by myself and I plan on purchasing a few more to go on my WASR-10 and Saiga-12.Things you might want to know:- This mount does NOT allow you to use your open sights.- This mount does NOT allow you to field strip the gun without removal.- The threads on the mount are REVERSE. Counterclockwise to tighten, clockwise to untighten.- Easy on, easy off removal- Finish quality is greatThe second rail is a great feature. I mounted a light on mine and it is perfect. You will see your target at night and be able to engage anything that is within your lights capability. Again, highly recommended and a great addition to any AK platform!
