This stock system allows the use of AR-15 type optics and accessories. Includes an upper receiver housing with integrated picatinny rail, lower receiver housing with pistol grip and storage compartments, and a free float handguard with top and bottom picatinny rails. Also included is an extended magazine release. The stock system will work with bull barrel, however the muzzle device will NOT work with bull barrels. Important Note: Stocks and barrels designed for the Ruger 22 Charger pistol may not be used on a Ruger 10/22 rifle since the installation converts the 10/22 into a pistol or short barreled rifle and violates federal law.

It's a good looking stock ...

It's a good looking stock and is fairly sturdy. However, there are a few of key items missing from this package.#1 - Allen Wrenches NOT included in package. You will need them to assemble.#2 - No metal inserts for the screw threads. REAL easy to strip the threads because everything is poly. If you do strip the holes, seal them with heavy duty epoxy, let dry, and re-tap with a drill.#3 - If you look at pics on Gunbroker or elsewhere, you will notice on a lot of photos a very minor curve between the front half of the pistol and the hand guard half. This is NOT an optical illusion. You will need a spacer, washer, gasket, or shim to get the two halves completely straight. Of course, it was not included...If I had to do it over again, I would have bought the Axiom aftermarket stock. Not as tacti-cool, but a heck of a lot less headaches and the pistol grip is just as ergonomic.

Very good upgrade for the ...

Very good upgrade for the Charger, gives it that tactical look. Only 4 stars, as it took quite a bit of file work to allow magazines to fit.
