This mag works fine in the DPMS upper I purchased from Midway.The only ammo I've used has been UMC,fmj.Some of the common problems with this caliber stem from out of spec ammo.

Had three and all oriented the last cartridge a little differently. This made a difference with HP ammo, didn't seem to make a difference with FMJ.

I bought this and regret it. Jams like crazy and the bottom falls off on its own.I cant believe A company this repeatable sells things that don't even work . If your looking for a good mag in 7.62x39 try the AR stoner brand .

I use this magazine primarily to fire form 7.62x39 brass into 6.5mm Grendel. It is excellent for this purpose and find that it also feeds the factory 6.5mm Grendel ammo flawlessly. I will buy more of these for my 7.62x39 AR upper.

Quality control missed ...

Quality control missed one. Had to file the back of the magazine to get it to fit. Would not allow the bolt to close if more than 5 rounds are in it. Had to install a smaller spring. Works ok now. Would have sent back but it was the only one I had.

Purchased 3 magazines, none of the 3 would work in my AR-15 rifle. This magazine is poor in design. No ammo of any kind or bullet design would feed properly.

Using this mag in a Bushmaster lower. Functions very well, but loading the 10th round is difficult. Being a non-metal magazine, I'll wait to comment on its durability.
