This DPMS A2 AR-15 Upper Receiver Assembly comes fully assembled and ready to install on any standard small pin, mil-spec lower receiver. Perfect for those who prefer a fixed carry handle/rear sight assembly or for building a semi-auto carbine honoring a classic military arm, this Forged 7075-T6 Aluminum A2 Upper is equipped with a 16" Heavy Contour Barrel and a versatile 1 in 9" Rifling Twist for stabilizing light- to medium-weight bullets of up to about 69 grains. The upper is fully outfitted and ready to shoot with a 5.56x45mm NATO chamber, polymer GlacierGuard handguards, bolt carrier group, charging handle, Forged A2 Front Sight assembly with bayonet lug, fully adjustable A2 Rear Sight assembly/Fixed Carry Handle, A2 Flash Hider, forward assist, shell deflector and ejection port door.
