Functions rather well and is pretty powerful, clean burning, and accurate in my Glenfield/Marlin model 60. Also the reusable plastic box is rather nice.

This is the only 22 LR ammo I have used for about 13 yrs! It is the best 22lr ammo I have used especially for the price. I am able to keep around ½” groups at 100 yards with my Mossberg 22 that was passed down to me by my grandfather with only a 4x scope on her. I just proved the accuracy of this ammo to my friend last week by hitting the center bar code on a soda can at 100 yards. I would recommend this ammo to all 22 owners.

Accurate, powerful, reliable, burns clean and is moderately priced. At least that's been my experience. What else is there to say?

This is the only .22 LR which has never malfunctioned in my Ruger Mk II. Not the cheapest .22 LR you can get, but you get what you pay for.

I bought some of this ammo and have tried it through my Glenfield [Marlin] Model 60 with excellent accuracy. This is some powerful .22 LR, great for raccoon, coyote, fox, etc.

What is there not to like. I really don't need to see the reason to keep looking for hunting ammo for my Biathlon Basic after trying out a box of these. Equipped with a Weaver Classic Rimfire 3-9X32 AO scope at 50 yards, I pulled of a 0.47 inch five round group. Hopefully this will show up so you all can see http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v634/flip180/?action=view¤t=tacpro103.jpg

My stock 10/22 carbine shoots this ammo the best. 0.5" groups at 50 yards easy. Out of about 500 rounds I had no FTFs or stovepipes and to be honest, the few flyers I did shoot could probably be blamed on the operator more than the ammo. My rifle does not shoot the more expensive match rounds nearly as well, so I can see no reason to hunt or shoot with anything else but these.

This is the most accurate round I have found for my 10/22. The round makes a ragged hole at 50 yards with a stock barrel! Every other gun I have shot has shot CCI Mini-Mags very well. The round may not be the most accurate out there, but for hunting it is more than accurate. It is definitely the most consistent 22 round I have used. I have never had a misfire and only one flyer out of the thousands of round I have shot. The round is awesome for hunting and kills quickly. I only shoot CCI mini-mags...you just can't beat them for hunting!

Item burns extremely well in my Browning-does not cause stove-piping, and is accurate.

I have been using this little round for years out of an accurized 10/22, Rem. 552, colt diamond back and ruger mk11. This is the most accurate round I have found for my guns. My rifles will group under 1/2" at 50 yards, and the handguns eat up the x-ring at 25 yards. As for hunting effectiveness; I have not lost a rabbit yet.

Well, not much of a review but this is the only ammo my wife's Beretta 21A will cycle reliably. The Beretta is very picky about what it eats (no extractor, don't know how it works at all!) but this stuff has never failed. Haven't tried it in anything else though, always save what I get for her. Can't even speak to accuracy because the Beretta is worthless past about 15 feet! (2 inch barrel) SO... If you have a Beretta 21A, this is the stuff to buy, otherwise sorry I wasted your time!

I use a Walther P22 3.4" (a semi-auto pistol) and found this to be a very reliable round. No miss-fires and no jams as of yet (300+ rounds). Will feed well in my 10 round mag. and seems to be cleaner due to the copper plated HP round.

I have been looking for a .22 HP that would give good accuracy in my target rifles and pistols as well as provide a good small game load. The CCI 36gr. HP really does the job. It has provided excellent accuracy in my Winchester M-75 (3/8"@ 75 yds.)as well as my 10-22 Ruger and Winchester Legacy. But it also shoots the best in my K-22 S&W and Ruger MKIV. In a nutshell this is a moderately priced .22 LR that performs as well or better than much more expensive rimfire ammo I have used in the past. It also feeds and functions better than most in all of my action types.

For "standard" ammunition, this is some of the most consistent shooting .22LR made. Plenty of power for small game and good targeting accuracy.

I Liked this 22 because i shoot in matches and i have found it to be the most accurate 22 there is. it is also very durable, i have left it in the rain and snow and it shoots every time. there really isnt very much i to dislike about it.

This is great ammunition. I have taken many squirrels with it and it is deadly accurate at a great price. It uis my favorite ammunition with great take down ability and it's a hollow point.

CCI Mini Mag HP performed in the bottom third of all the loads that I tested in my rifles for accuracy. Out of 35 types of ammo tested, only 9 shot worse in my NEF Sportster, and only 13 shot worse in my 10/22. Average group size (5 shot @ 50 yards) was 2.46 inch and 1.38 inch respectively. Average velocity was 1250 ft/sec w/sectional density of 18.3, and 1261 ft/sec w/sd of 23.2. The ammo looks like it is well made, and had no failures to fire or feed. .22 ammo is very peculiar to each particular gun, (although some loads due tend to perform better as an average across different guns). Recommend you try as many different types of ammo that you can until you find what your gun likes. Regardless of the relative performance, 1.38 average group size @ 50 yards in a stock 10/22 isn’t really that bad. My guns shot more accurately with most of the other loads, but this accuracy in a high speed ammo is be perfectly adequate for many situations.

Good ammo for the money. Shoots accurate and flat out to about 80 yards or so. Burns clean and expands well. Very consistent shooting ammo.

Reasonably priced. Marvel requests that you use these in their 1911 conversions. Of course I didn't believe them because I own 10,000 rounds of Win Hi-V. I thought the Marvel was a piece of junk until I tried the Mini-Mags. Flawless. Believe Marvel on their ammo recommendations if you use their conversion units.

One thing to keep in mind with "mini-mags" is that there is nothing special about the specs. They are just a high speed round with a cool name in nice packaging. They produce average accuracy in my CZ452 (.5" at 50yds). To me, they are not worth the extra money compared to other hp ammo. Also, for what it is worth, they chambered hard in the CZ.
