Needed a heavy bullet to beat the wind prairie dog hunting in SD. A .243 with 105gr A-Max with 4064 is the ticket. Expansion is truly awesome. 400-600 yd. shots were dead on, with a couple of 1000 yd. shots mixed in. Wind was no trouble.

I am using these bullets in a Rem 700 with a 1/9.5 twist with excellent results! I seat it out to the lands on top of Varget and consistently place rounds in a 5 shot group of less than 1/4 inch, I don't have a fancy tool to measure my groups but all 5 bullets overlap making 1 hole with ragged edges slightly larger than the original bullet. I am normally partial to Sierra bullets but since I started using these projo's in this rifle I have stuck with them and am now ordering 500 more to have on hand. I would recommend these bullets to anyone just take your time working up a load and try to seat the bullet as close to the lands as you can (within reason) and you should get good results.

I don't understand where the negative reviews come from. I shot my first .25" groups at 100 yds in my life with these bullets. This is coming out of a Ruger Varmint rifle, 1 in 9" twist, 24" barrel, IMR 4350. The bullets practically went all in the same hole, two separate days at the range so it wasn't just a lucky day. Great bullet!

Great bullet, shoots .1"-.3" groups in my 6 AI 1-9" twist at 3200 fps. Nice low recoil, long-range prairie dog round.

Great accuracy with this bullet using H-1000 and Lapua brass. I was using Berger 95 VLDs but these are every bit as accurate giving me consistent 1/2" groups in my Stevens 200 in .243 Win with a factory 26" varmint barrel.

Very accurate in my rifle with H1000. 10 shot groups run around .5". This is the best bullet I have found for a 1 in 9" twist.

I bought my wife a Savage model 12BVSS with 1x91/8 twist. Had trouble getting good result with the lighter bullets. This bullet is awesome! 3/8 inch 5 shot group at 100 yds.May be selling my 308 Rem. 700 for another Savage.

I have been able to stabilize these in a 1:10 twist 6mm AI, and I get better groups with this bullet than any other I have tried in it. I think it may be better stabilized due to the higher velocity offered by the 6AI vs. most other 6mm's. To be fair, I did moly coat them. I have not used it for hunting so cannot comment on its terminal ballistics. I have tried about a dozen different bullets, and this is the one I am using in an upcoming 400 yard match.

accurate bullet, 3000 fps . Using savage 12fv 26" brl, 1-9.25 twist. consistant 1/2 moa groups. you can hunt anything from coyotes down and they will not notice you are using a target bullet.

These bullets rock. In my 6mmAI with 1-8" twist they nuke groundhogs as far as I can hit. Not quite as accurate as the 107gr SMK but the SMK doesn't work on varmints like this bullet does!

An excellent match bullet for the money. My wife and I shoot this bullet in our .243 Win(s) with near max loads of RE 22 for about 3000 fps. Both rifles have 1-8 twists. My wife frequently outshoots me and other big guys with our .30 mags up to 600 yds with this bullet. This possibly makes the little .243 the best bang for your buck. Expansion on distant varmints is erratic.

This bullet is for 1-9" twist not the 1-10" that is recommended here. Excellent bullets

I tried a box of these through my Winchester Model 70 Coyote, with a 24" 1-10 twist barrel. I was not able to stabilize the bullets to deliver anything better than 4 to 5 inch groups at 100 yards. At 200 yards the groups would not stay on a standard piece of 8.5 x 11 paper. loads were moderate to past what the book lists as max so velocity didn't help. You'll need a faster twist to use these bullets. I picked three stars because there isn't a provision for "no rating". I can't say they're no good because they're intended for faster twist barrels than mine.

In two rifles one with a 1-9" and the other with a 1-8" twist, both Krieger match barrels, neither would shoot this bullet below 1-1/2” at 100. The Berger VLD and Sierra, 105 and 108 both shot groups out of both rifles at less than .25 with some loads and neither exceeding .650 with any load. I tried 5 powders and 5 different loads of each powder and the Hornady more than doubled the worst loads from any of the 4 other 105+ grain bullets I used. Poor at best.
