These 12 Solid Brass Cleaning Jags are the fastest way to thoroughly clean, dry or oil your barrel. Each jag is designed to provide a tight fit between the patch and the bore. These are exceptionally good jags and are not expensive. They are well made and the storage box makes it a snap to find what I want and know when I didn't put something back. A real time saver in a quality set.

Absolutely the best set of jags I've ever used. I've had my set for several years and wouldn't part with them. Recently my son and I were finishing up at the range and both cleaning our .223's. He borrowed my .22 jag so (knowing better)I stuck a nylon jag on my brand new Tipton cleaning rod. Yeah, it broke off and I wound up trashing the rod tip trying to remove it. Midway replaced the rod with their usual great customer service, but I'm buying my son one of these jag sets for his own. I'll toss in a Tipton rod too. Truely selfish motives on my part.

I can't believe the time and effort I wasted with cheap plastic tips before I got these. Nothing bothers them including my own Eds Red mix. Patches stay on better and the tighter fit means each patch does a better job; less time and less patches used. I sometimes have to use the next smaller size jag with very thick patches, but I don't consider this a fault of the jags. I agree with the other reviewer that the labeled storage case is very handy. As another reviewer noted, the jags holds the patch pretty securely, but I still use a brass loop puller for most back and forth work. I don't consider this a fault of the jags, though. I want them for tight one-way cleaning. I would certainly buy these again, but it doesn't look like I will need to, at least not anytime soon.

Great product that actually works as advertised ... I have worn out the .22 size, but the rest are still fine. I have replaced the .22 with the same one. I guess after 8 years of shooting and cleaning, you would expect to wear something out.....

Best jags I've used. Comes in a nice plastic case too. The grooves are angled just right so they grip the patch and you can actually scrub in and out and the patch stays on.

Have been using this set for a few years. These are the best jags I have used, bar none. I am thinking about getting a spare set.

Great product, no problems at all. What really makes this jag set stand out to me is the case, makes it easy to keep up with jags, and no fumbling thru them to find correct one its printed on the case.

I am a gunsmith and have used this product for about five years. I have cleaned thousands of barrels and chambers with these jags. I have put all types of cleaners on them as well. They are still in the shape I have received them, and still doing their job. Excellent product Midway. Thank you.

Nice set, handy storage box, only gripe is the lettering on the box is too small to see with older eyes. Only other improvement suggestion is to have "half-steps" between existing sizes. With more selections, the thickness of the cleaning patch can be better matched to the bore. If you're like me, buy two, one for home, one for the field kit.

The jag kit is well made and very convenient however if you use .27 jags with the rods for .27 and over barrels it is almost impossible to push the patches through the barrel. If you choose to use the smaller diameter rod, the rear portion of the .27 jag has a diameter much bigger than the rod and the flat edge of the jag may very well damage your barrel's crown when pulling back the rod.

Worked great while it lasted. The 30 caliber jag snapped off in my cleaning rod while I was cleaning a parkerized M1 Garand barrel. I now have to figured out how to remove the piece, as the rod is unusable.
