Works great! Wish I had bought it a long time ago. . Normally I use LEE dies, but was impressed with the quality. I pulled more bullets in 1 hr than I did in 3yrs with the kinetic puller.

Buy this one first! Works flawlessly and does not damage even plated bullets. Light pressure on collet grips bullet easily. No spilled powder, no beating your brains out - just a nice, smooth operation. Almost worth buying a separate cheap press to put alongside your decap unit. A Five Star product indeed.

I've been using this puller for 2-3 years and it works great. I had to pull about 100 .223 remington with no problem and was able to reuse the pulled bullets. Hardly any markings at all. Very good product.

I am new to reloading and this has to be the most innovative product I have to date. If you are new, you are going to make mistakes like I have. This makes those mistakes quick and painless to remedy without damaging your components. I undercharged about 20 rounds and was able to pull these in mere minutes and able to salvage the bullets and brass. For those of you that are wondering if this will work on a progressive press, it does. If your progressive has a changeable tool head like Dillon or RCBS then purchase a separate tool head and install it on that one. Then you have a dedicated head for bullet pulling.

I needed to pull some S&W .500 bullets and my kinetic puller wouldn't handle the size. I set it up on my Dillon progressive loader and pulled them all. The puller has to be adjusted so that the body stops the brass case and clocked so that the handle releases the collet grip just before contacting the existing die. It takes less than (90) degrees of handle rotation to fully grip the bullet and pull through the roll crimp that handles the .500's heavy recoil. If the body isn't locked into the press (jam nut), one will not get enough grip to do anything.

After reading some of the reviews with low ratings, I actually thought it wasn't worth the risk. If you have a progressive press (especially an RCBS), this works. Just take the die plate out and remove the powder measure. There is no problem with the handle on the bullet puller. It's a snap to replace the powder measure. This thing works great!

Awesome tool!! Bought this for using on my 30-378 Weatherby. Have an RCBS IV press, and (YES) the case will fit for using this tool. Just screw the RCBS bullet puller down until it's at the bottom so you can see the collet. Then run up the cartridge so the top of the neck is just below the collet, then gently turn the tool handle until you feel you feel it grasping the bullet. Not too tight or you will damage the bullet. Then pull down the press handle to extract the bullet. This tool works great, have been loading for years. Always looking for new and better ways. This is one of them!!! GOOD & SAFE HUNTING!!!

I (apparently) under loaded some .38 Special rounds and needed to pull the bullets out and start over. I ordered this to go on my Lee single stage press. I am very pleased. Once I got the setup in place I was able to easily pull the bullets out. It does warn against using it on lead rounds so I can't speak to whether or not it damages them, but it was great on the copper jacketed rounds I needed to pull out. Easy to use, good price, does what it says. You can't beat that.

This bullet puller works very well and you can't go wrong using RCBS tools . I used a 22 Cal collet to pull 20 Cal bullets and it worked very well without damage to the bullet .

WOW! If you are still using a kinetic bullet puller, as I was till last week, throw it in the trash and buy this one. I just got it, ran out to the garage and pulled 30 rds of .40 cal in 2 1/2 minutes without trying for speed. It would have taken me a lot of hammering and noise, spilled powder, and frustration just to get it done in 15 minutes. I am waiting for the .22 and 6 mm rifle collets to see how that works but so far this is awesome. There are a couple setbacks though. 1st, this can be used on a progressive or a single stage press. But to really get the benefit of the speed it seems better suited on a single stage. 2nd, (and trust me its worth every penny) the price of the puller itself is about the same as a kinetic. But if you were dirt cheap like I was then it will seem a little costly to buy 1 collet (and if using a single stage, shell holder) for each caliber. i.e. about $10 for each collet, .40, .45, .22, 6mm will cost me about $40 in collets. So for approx. $55 bucks I can pull 4 clibers.(BUT LET ME REITERATE. THE TIME I SAVE WILL BE WORTH EVERY PENNY as far as ease of use and speed of pulling rds to avoid all the frustration of a kinetic.) AA+++ to RCBS. 30 rds in 2 minutes. that’s AWESOME.

I had always used the Kinetic puller. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. This is the easiest way to pull a bullet. The cases and bullets are not damaged. You simply screw the bullet puller into your press as you would any other die. The handle you see in the picture is threaded on the end that is in the die. You screw this die into the proper collet. Insert your bullet into the case holder on your press ram. Run the loaded case up to the bottom of the die and insert the bullet into the collet. Tighten the handle on top of the die which draws the collet up into the die which tightens the collet around the bullet. Once tight you simply reverse the process and the bullet it undamaged in the collet. You will NEVER use a kinetic puller again. Sell it in your next garage sale.

This is my second puller and the last one I will ever buy. This is strong dependable easy to set up and very fast to use, I pulled 250 223's in 1 hour with out a mark on the bullet. Very little pressure is needed to clamp the bullet, pull it, loosen it and the bullet will fall out on it's own. Plus the collet is on the bottom of the die so you can see everything, raise the press till the case hits the collet clamp, pull, unclamp and done, very fast and easy. This is all you wll ever need to fix the mistakes that we don't like to talk about.

Works great, I can't believe that I lived without one for so long. Worked perfectly for pulling .223 FMJBT that I got wrong. Pulled much easier and faster than using a hammer style puller. Setting up the collet is fast and easy, and the collets are made so that the case mouth can't be damaged unless you force the tool.

Works flawlessly! Safely and easily removes bullets without marring or deforming and it fits any press with standard 7/8x14 threads. Toss the kinetic puller and invest in one of these...you won’t be sorry.

Outstanding tool! Although not recommended for lead bullets, I have found that this puller works well on lead bullets IF an impact-type puller is used initially to overcome the crimp and pull the bullet half-way. This keeps the powder from getting all over the lead bullet lube (as happens with an impact puller) when it is pulled. I like it!

I've been full circle on pullers, I seem to get "donated" lots of peoples rejects and old ammo to disassemble. I've had Quinetics, Frankford Aresenal, Lyman and Frankford's newest '8 second' puller (what a joke that was, 2 rounds it broke.) So I bought this RCBS collet puller. Save some money and buy this one first, its wonderful. I pulled about 6 or 8 hundred 223's last night in about 2 hours, almost effortlessly! The instructions tell you to rap on the die if a bullet sticks...Don't. I had no bullet sticking whatsoever using minimum grip force on bullet for several hundred rounds and then my friend came by and tried some and slugs started sticking in it (because he tightened it down too tight!) The fix was to remove the collet and (using a soft yellow brass tapered punch to not mar/scratch the collet) and being careful to not go too far and damage the collet, tap the punch into the bottom of the collet to slightly spread the 'legs' of the collet so it wouldn't grip too hard and stick the bullet. Bingo, no more sticking slugs, no rapping on the die. I never pulled bullets so fast or easily in my life than with this one. Being generous with the time I'd say I was pulling a bullet every four seconds. I just let the bullets fall into the primer catch tray on the RC press and collect when full. No damaged bullets either!!!

Only an idiot would use this fine tool on lead bullets and then give it a bad rating. This IS an outstanding tool that pulls bullets easily and without marring. It is FAR superior to a kinetic "hammer style" bullet puller. I threw my kinetic pullers in the dump. Good riddance!

This is the way to go!! Buy this once and your set. I was able to pull over 100 bullets in 15 minutes without scaring the cases or bullets. I charged the cases correctly and pressed the bullets in without resizing or crimping. The rounds fired flawlesly

Works easily and effectively with little to no bullet marring. Have had to struggle with a couple because it didn't grip tight enough, but I think this is the compromise for not marring the bullets.

Let me start by saying that the RCBS bullet puller is well made and works very well. I am most disappointed that I will be unable to use it though. This is the problem, I have a turret press and the turn handle on the bullet puller is fixed and cannot slide back and forth, therefore I must remove all the dies from my turret press so the locking handle on the die will turn. What a bummer! Used in a single press would be just fine. I am most disappointed that the documentation did not point out that the puller would not work on turret presses.

Worked great on everything except the FMJ 30-06 miltary ammo. Simple and easy to use. Take it easy, to minimize powder mess. If you don't overtighten, you'll be able to remove the bullet w/ two fingers & no fuss. I never was able to remove a single FMJ bullet from that military brass.

Worked great for pulling .40 ammo until one day the collet got stuck on a bullet. It stuck so hard that I bent the handle trying to get the collet to release. I guess I should send it back to RCBS for replacement.

I am going back to the hammer type impact because I use moly bullets. The moly is so slippery that this type of puller has not worked for me. It seems that if you do not use moly coated bullets, it should work fine.

If the bullets are seated too deep like on pistol rounds or whatever the case and the full diameter of the bullet is not exposed you probably will have to use a kinetic puller. At least that is what I do.

Apparently the jackets are too thin on .204 and .223 caliber bullets for this device to work effectively. In order to pull these small caliber bullets I had to tighten the collet to the point the bullets were being badly distorted.
