ProMag magazine bodies are constructed of high carbon heat-treated steel and TIG-welded for strength. The springs are precision wound using heat-treated chrome silicon wire. Bases and followers are injection molded from polymers selected for their durability. The result is quality, consistency, durability and reliability.

I load mine with 32 rounds of 115 grain FMJ and it has functioned perfectly. It did draw a bit of attention at the range as it looked rather odd inserted into a XD subcompact 9, but it fed and fired just fine.

Bought one of these mags just for fun. It would constantly jam and misfed rounds so I filled it with 30 rounds and let it sit about 3 months since then it has not jammed or misfed one round. Decent product for the price it just takes a while to break it in.
