Trickler works perfectly. Only modification needed is to turn it over and fill the base with molten lead to bring the weight up so it doesn't move around when operating it with one finger. It's a five minute fix to a product that is already well-designed.

I liked the product it works well. I did add lead to the base of it, for one handed operation. That was a minor addition for the $1.20 of lead it cost it is a nice addition. I believe the weight is not added at the factory for shipping reasons. The unit works quite well. I suggest this product to anyone who wants accuracy.

As other have said, this powder trickler is a little on the light side and requires either a very light touch, or two hands to use, but it works beautifully. The base is hollow to specifically accept more weight to alleviate this problem if you so desire.

I was a bit disappointed by the fairly light weight, so I found some small steel washers and a large steel nut that just fit in the bottom. I placed the large nut in the bottom and then filled the surrounding space with tiny washers. I then filled the bottom with epoxy to hold it all in and kept the epoxy below flush -- level with the little (higher) rim around the perimeter. Now the trickler is heavy enough to easily use one - handed and is high enough from the factory that I don't need to block it up to be over my scale pan (like some say you need to do with the Redding trickler).

This is a really useful trickler. I don't think it's too light. I have not had any problems with it moving around on the bench. It doesn't leak out any powder around the shaft and is consistent. Overall it a great buy

Excellent trickler. Can be used fast enough to bring loads up to spec quickly or slowly enough to add just a few granules. Another excellent RCBS tool.

Really like this trickler. Powder flow is smooth for the tiny AA1680 and the straight tube doesn't allow the long grain "logs" to slide out in clumps. Never see overruns. Some users complained about being too light and moves around. It is and does. Turn it upside down and fill it about 1/3 with 2 part epoxy. Add a handful of reclaimed range shot until below the rim and wetted. Season to taste. This time tomorrow you'll have a smooth RCBS that weights a half pound or better.

It's a powder trickler. It trickles powder. What more can I say? It works great and is heavy enough to stay put. If I have to complain about anything, I guess it could be a bit taller. Since it is not tall enough to work with my Pact BBK2 scale. So i just set it on top of something to make it tall enough and problem solved. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this trickler to anyone.

Very nice trickler, does exactly what it's meant to do. Nice even, slow flow of powder, or you can tip it some to make it go faster if needed.

My only complaint was that I had to use both hands to keep it from wiggling away from the powder pan on the scale while I was measuring. But, after removing the shaft and plastic parts I turned it over and filled it with melted lead, problem solved!

This is a must for reloading! It could be heavier, but is great for the price. Super accurate trickles of powder, especially good for extruded rifle powder.

Great little trickler. Sure it feels a little sloppy, but it does the job very well and allows you to add powder fast or slow. I have used the same one since 1987. Looks just like the ones they are selling now. I have never had a problem with it moving around, but adding lead to the bottom seems like a good idea and I have lead so I may give that a try. I recommend this product especially for the price. You can not go wrong.

This is an excellent little tool that is well made and has made measuring precise loads a snap. Works well with all powder types, even extruded. I'm pleased that I purchased this tricker within a week of getting the reloading kit as it makes measuring charges much easier.

Pretty good trickler for the money. I also poured the bottom full of lead to make it heavier. It works fine. Don't forget to remove the plastic parts before you pour the lower cavity full of lead or they'll melt.

For a few dollars more, consider the Redding instead. It is MUCH heavier, is well made, and stays put the way a powder trickler should!

The arm of the trickler does not stay in place as the piece of plastic that should keep it from moving left to right allows it to move easily. The base seems wider than it needs to be, and it's too short to work without being mounted (Velcro) right on my RCBS electronic scale. The units base does not weigh enough. By contrast my Redding trickler has a smaller base, and has enough weight to stay put on the side of my scale. It also has an arm that doesn't move, and the input hole for the powder is a bit smaller, allowing a finer ability to meter out powder. My advice would be to get the Redding product instead. The RCBS works, but there are better tricklers for about the same money.

This product did not seem to be well made. Adjustment knob was sloppy and bushing slid back and forth.

Have not used it yet but it is too low to work with my RCBS Range Master 750. I will have to make a stand for it. Come on RCBS, you offer a great scale and what others seem to think is a great trickler. They should work together!

I bought one of these brand new. It lasted EXACTLY 10 rounds, using IMR 4064 powder. Froze up solid, won't even turn. I'll stick with Hornady. Or use a spoon. Anything better than this thing.
