The Bird's Head Grip Frame fits Ruger Blackhawks, Vaqueros and Single Sixes and makes a compact grip in the old western Bird's Head design. It has long been a favorite choice of many cowboy action shooters. Includes grips. Installation by a qualified gunsmith is required.

  • White Micarta Grips

    Fits:
  • Ruger Blackhawks, Vaqueros and Single-Sixes. This will not fit the 2005 Vaqueros that are built using a "Colt-sized" grip frame.

    Notes:
  • Grip frames are oversized due to variations in sizes of Ruger frames and to allow for fitting to the individual gun.

    These grip frames require a lot of fitting,maybe 6 or 8 hours of filing and sanding and polishing, but when your done they they make a handsome addition to your vaquero or blackhawk.The quality is very good.You don't have to be a gunsmith to do it,just take your time and use care.
