    I actually purchased the Tac holster not for any of the 5.11 clothing, but for the Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack which I also just purchased from Midway. I chose this holster over the Maxpedition model because it offers more retention capability for my liking and it fits the Versipack just fine. Don't let the "universal" nature of design turn you away, it fits my Colt 1911 Government, Colt Detective Spl. revolver and my Glock 23 quite well. The retention strap is adjustable on both sides and there is amble length in the strap so it's ready for any side arm you want to pack. Construction of the item is very good, I'm well pleased. I've looked at some of the 5.11 clothing and was well impressed and will probably make a puchase in the near future. Of that clothing which accomodates CCW, I'll definetly purchase one of these to suplement CC, the holster simply eliminates flopping around of your sidearm. Thanks Midway!
