Loaded @ 2700 FPS out of a scoped Yugo M48bo Mauser, cuts the bullseye out of the target @ 100 yds. 3 deer on the ground with neck shots ranging from 30 to 85 yds. You just can't beat those statistics.

We shoot them in 8x57mm Mauser rifles a lot. These bullets consistently outperform much more expensive offerings for accuracy, especially in older military bores. What they do to a whitetail out to 200 yards is a hunter's dream. With decent shot placement, you're not going to have to work too hard to track anything hit with this. We load them currently with AA 2520 at @ 2800 fps and we haven't had an animal take a step or do much more than hit the ground and twitch in very long time.

Believe it or not, I swage this bullet down and shoot it in my overbore M38 Mosin-Nagant 7.62x54R. I take this bullet from .323" down to .3155" in two steps. First, is through a .319" Lee size die made special order by Lee. Second, is through a .314" Lee size die reamed to .3155" by me. I tried swaging down other jacketed bullets, but the jackets split. This Rem bullet worked just fine. You'll need to lube the die and the bullets. You'll need a heavy duty press like the Lee Classic Cast. If you shoot a Gew 88 8x57 with a .318" bore, get Lee to make you a .318" die, and you can use this MUCH cheaper bullet.

My friends and I own several 8mm Mausers and shoot "paper" often. On several occasions, we've found that more expensive isn't necessarily better. Remington Cor-Lokt performed as well, and sometimes better than "premium" brand bullets that are often twice the price. They're an excellent varmint bullet and we wouldn't be afraid to take deer with them either! We found several bullets in our range backstop that expanded just as well as Speer, Sierra and Hornady without fragmentation. For the money, it's a winner!

Used these bullets for a 325WSM. I downloaded them to shoot at 2700FPS and took 2 does and a buck. The buck was a quartering facing shot. The recovered bullet was 126grn out of 185 after penetrating about 24"

Great performance on a 200+lb hog. Quartering away shot entered last 3 ribs on left side & was recovered under the hide on the right shoulder. Hit both lungs, liver & heart. The bullet held together & had a recovered weight of 116gr. The rifle used was a Yugo M24/47. This is my hunting bullet of choice for the 8MM.

Bought in case lot I have had, very good results in a wide range of 8mm cartridges. The bullets are accurate.

I really like these bullets, first the price and second the quality with accuracy. I load them with IMR 4064, and shoot out of a 1944 K98 with a scope and am consistently getting 3/4" groups at 100yds. Excellent product.

They worked quite well out of my Yugo M48. Benched 4 X's in a row at 100 yds ( 4064). At 200 yards or less they are a perfectly reasonable alternative to the (far) more expensive "match" boat-tails I was using. If their terminal performance on game is as good they definitely qualify as frugal but extremely functional all-around bullets.

Getting 1" groups out of a M-48 using Ramshot big game with virtually no load development. The cosmetics of the bullet could be better but I have no doubt it'd be a fine hunting bullet at Mauser velocities.
