THIS AMMO IS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!!! Two out of a total of 300 rounds fired in a .22 semi-auto pistol with no history of similar problems, BURST at the base, spewing sparks, smoke and at least one brass fragment. Many other rounds showed big bulges at the base, but some showed little or no bulging. I would guess that the strength of the brass is very inconsistent. I am quite disappointed to return this ammo, because it was the most reliable ammo I have used so far in that gun - except for the possibility of getting my nose blown off, of course.
