I mounted this scope on my JP Enterprise Grade II upper and my old Colt SP1 Lower and recently shot in a local (Miami) Any/Any 60 round match I scored 600-54X and had turned the power down to 24 cause at 32 it was a bit too wobbly. A couple of targets had the X ring shot away. I am using Warne Q/R Rings and never worry about the zero. I like it as good as the Leopold Var III that's on my 6.5 Swed.

I am using the BSA 8-32 on top of a heavy barrel Savage bolt action .223 with a Harris bipod. I use this rig for 100 yard target shooting only, which makes the target appear to be about 10 feet away. I don't need a spotting scope because I can see the pattern through the scope. I have no complaints and am debating putting another BSA 8-32 on my Bushmaster flat top AR15, which now is sporting a BSA 6-24! You can not beat the scope for the price.

I put this scope on a bushmaster super varminter, optics are bright and clear despite being a 40MM Objective and 1" tube. The only draw back to this scope is the rubberized exterior, marks indented if put on another gun. Otherwise, this scope performs great, and for the price you can't go wrong. I wish they made this scope with the standard black mate cote with a side focus instead of the front focus. Regardless to say, this is a fine scope despite what others may say about buying a low cost scope, pictures are much brighter than more expensive scopes I have and just about as clear as would be necessary to get the job done. I'm having fun with it, just wish it had the side focus, but it will put a hole where I aim it, very satisfied, will keep me going until I purchase a val data with side focus for the gun it is on. Regards from Hawaii........

I purchased this scope to prepare for a long range (1000yd) shooting class that I was attending. This scope performed well, however it ran out of elevation adjustment over 600yds (168gr .308 Win). The mil-dot reticle needed to be checked against a barber-pole, and I found out that at 10X the mil-dots were 1:1, and at 20X the mildots were 1:2. However, due to the nature of the zoom adjustment (a little sloppy) I marked small ticks on the adj ring where 10X and 20X were EXACTLY. This scope held zero well, in fact when I found out that I had run out of adjustment, I turned it back to the 100yd zero and put the shot dead center. The clicks on the target knobs are a little 'soft', so I ended up using the numbered lines instead. If it weren't for the running out of adjustment I would have given 5 stars. This scope performed well, and for the price I was pleasantly surprised at the performance. I was able to compete and even outshoot classmates with scopes worth ten times as much.

I have mount this scope on top of my bedded CZ-452 .17 HMR. I zeroed it in quickly with a .17 spud. I was shooting in the black at the first shot at 100 yards. It has bright optics at low power and looses light and eye relief quickly at 20+ power. This BSA doubles easily as my spotting scope! Pros: Clean optics, inexpensive, high power, fully coated lens, target turets. Cons: the elevation and windage knobs do not feel precise. They do not have the firm metal click stop as I have on my Leupold, Burris, Simmons or even older Tasco rifle scopes. Trying to set just one click can be a frustrating when shooting the .17 HMR at 100 yards. I can set it half way between "click" stops. This leads to being off target more times than I would like. Off target at 100 yards is 1" between the clicks. The clarity and brightness is nowhere as bright as Burris, Leupold, Simmons or Weaver. At high power, the eye relief is critically short. Bottom line: Not for the super precise bench rest crowd, but for average target and plinking: a great value. If you want a much brighter and more precise target scope, you'll need to spend (a lot) more than this scope.

This scope does very well on my .308 rifle, holding the zero after several rounds. However, image quality drops off in dim light. The mil dots also do not appear to be calibrated properly (at 10x), but they are consistent.

Great magnification for targets, but if you plan to use this one on a hunting rifle you will be the first one back to camp. The light gathering abilities on this one are none existant. I missed two low light chances on deer this year because of this. If you want the last 10 minutes of light, go Leupold!

I have sent this scope back once already. The scope picture gets hazy at 32 power adjustment past 400 yards. Save your money and get an NcStar scope for less and with better glass. Thanks.
