I have three of these scopes purchased because of the reviews here. I have them on a 45/70; a 35 Whelen Improved and a 358 Windchester. They work and work well. They withstand heavy recoil and are as clear as much more expensive scopes. I will put on my 375 H&H without any reservations.

Great buy. This last deer season in Pennsylvania experienced all sorts of weather. Rain, cold, sleet, warmth, and snow...this scope never failed to deliver clear, bright optical performance. Sleet deposited on the lenses and it never fogged. Sighting it to the rifle was consistent and trouble free. Buy this scope if you are in the market for a good fixed power. This was my first Weaver Scope. It will not be my last.

A well finished, clear, sharp scope. Mounted low on my Marlin 336 it is a first rate timber sight.

I have used this scope for many years. Used it on two rifles. It has kept its zero under rugged use and is almost as clear as the day I got it. I have used it on a 45/70 with hot hand loads since 1995 and every fall that I have shot it I never have had to adjusted it since.

Simply an outstanding scope and super value! I've noticed that several other reviewers have this scope on a .45-70 and I'm no exception. I've had this scope on my Marlin .45-70 with very hot loads for the past three seasons with no problems at all. I've used it in rain and freezing temps. Once this scope is zeroed it stays put. I've never had to adjust it after the initial sight-in which says a lot considering the hefty recoil of the .45-70. Plenty of eye relief and a bright, crystal clear sight picture. I'm now about to buy my second Weaver 2.5x to put on a rimfire. These Weavers are of a quailty worth many times their price. A sound investment.

The Weaver K-2.5X scope is great! I have mounted on my Marlin 336SS rifle and I shoot the Grizzly Cartridge heavy 30-30 Win. load and get 1"-2" groups at 100 yards! I also took a nice buck with this combination and it is true, the scope stays zeroed!

Great scope, especially for the money. Very clear, better than some scopes that cost 3x as much. I first bought it for a Win 94 trapper .44 mag and used it there a couple years before moving it to a 9422 .22 magnum. It's a good scope for lever action ranges, in many ways better than the high dollar low magnification variables. The magnification is a little low for load workup but once you know what the gun likes, it's plenty for normal use.

I am going to tell you not to buy this scope. I am being straight up with you because after you use it for awhile, you are going to realize that you have wasted your money on other scopes. And that you fell into a marketing ploy that convinced you, you need a high power scope to shoot well. Some of the finest shooting I have done has been with this scope on 35 Whelens and the 458 American. When people tell you it won't move on you, it won't move on you. I highly recommend the Weaver dual rings with this. The rifles mentioned above are customs and they are enhanced by this scope. Are there better scopes? Clearer yes. But you'll have to buy them from now on.

Well I put one on my Marlin 336 .35rem and shoot sub MOA groups @ 100yrds. w/ federal loads. Next up is to test it w/ Buffalo Bore's heavy 35 load. So far it has kept it's zero and is very clear. Im not sure why scopes are so much more than this one. I can't tell the difference between this and a scope costing 3-4 times as much. This scope seems too good to be true Im waiting for somthing to go wrong but it aint happened yet! Looks real good on a lever action! Oh and I love the eye relief! NO scope in the eye under recoil with one!

This scope has performed very well on a 45-70 that has eaten two other more expensive scopes. The optics are bright and clear and the eye relief is long for use with guns with heavy recoil. I've since mounted it on a light (5 1/2 lbs.) .358 Win. and it is performing well again. Great product.
