Just by swapping out my Colt LW Commander's stock spring with this one, the trigger pull weight dropped from 4lbs. 10 ozs. to 3 lbs. 6 ozs. Truly a drop-in part, as no adjustments or fitting was needed. Well worth the money!

Exactly what I was looking for. Along with the Chip Mc. hammer and sear that have been slightly stoned and polished in my SA Gov. it is right around a 1.5 lb. pull.

This sear spring is AWESOME! It just dropped in and works great for a smoother trigger squeeze. I put it on my Kimber Warrior 5" barrel single stack. A must buy for a person wanting to upgrade and not pay hundreds of dollars.

I have 2 1911s, and the one from High Standard had the worst trigger. I dropped this part in, and the pull improved greatly. Now the High Standard trigger pull is better. I'm going to have to buy a second C&S spring for the other 1911...

I've installed 2 of these. The first in a Smith with a near 6lb pull. Dropped in and it now has a 3.5lb pull. The second went into a new Smith DK series that arrived with a 4.5lb pull. It now brakes cleanly at 3lbs. The best money I've spent for the most improvement on a 1911. My Kimber is next in line!

Bought this for my wife's Kimber TLE 2 in 9mm PB. It brought the trigger from 4 1/2 lbs. to 3 1/2, main change noted was less creep although had to slightly adjust overtravel (barely). Very happy with it. Truly drop in on this gun. Bought three of them, going to try my RIA Officers 1911 with 5 1/2 lb. trigger next. PS: I used it in conjunction with the 19 lb reduced power Ed Brown competition mainspring, 5 pack available from Midway.

I came from a different direction; I needed to increase trigger pull. My S&W PC1911 had a masterful 3 lb., 4 oz trigger but it needed to be at least 3 lbs 8 oz for bullseye. The C&S Sear Spring brought the weight up to 3 lbs, 9 oz with a simple drop in installation. No fitting required!

QUALITY drop-in sear spring that is well-priced. As with feedback from others who bought, I can CONFIRM the same results of a much improved trigger pull on my KIMBER Custom TLE/RL II. Highly recommended to improve 1911 trigger performance without bringing it to the gunsmith.

Just put this spring into a Springfield Armory GI model, along with an Ed Brown trigger. WOW! Sweet! The stock trigger was garbage, with these two parts, and a little time fitting the trigger, it is crisp and clean. (The spring required no fitting, just the trigger). Just put it in tonight, haven't been to the range yet, but in dry firing, there is now NO MOVEMENT AT ALL in the sights when the trigger breaks. Two parts, under $30 bucks, and an hours work have made a huge improvement.

This sear spring works great. It does lighten the pull. I had to fit it but it only took about 10 minutes to do so no big deal. So for the price of the sear spring for a lighter trigger what have you got to lose. Give it shot.

Worked as well as I had hoped. I bought two. Both installations resulted in at least a 1lb drop in trigger pull weight. The best part is that swapping the sear spring doesn't affect the recoil system timing like changing the hammer spring does.

I bought this spring hoping for a cheap quick fix to reduce the trigger pull in a S&W SW1911 [#108284]. I was not disappointed: Trigger pull dropped from 5#9 oz to 3# 10.7 oz. I'm still impressed and obviously highly recommend it....

I just installed it in my Kimber Custom II, and the results were very impressive. The trigger pull weight actually went down by about 1.25 lbs. The lock up was still solid, and no hammer-follows were realized during the function test. Save yourself a bundle, try this before taking it to a gunsmith, which could cost you hundreds of dollars. I'm buying another one for my other 1911.

Lightened my trigger pull as advertised... however the spring for the grip safety is so light that the grip safety rattles when the hammer is cocked. No good, can't use it.

I put the spring in my Kimber Gold Match and it increased the trigger pull by 5 oz. so I tweaked the sear leg a little and got it down to 3# 4oz then I tweaked the factory springs on my other gold match and Para 1445 until I got them all at same pull 3# 4oz. I could have saved the money and did it myself, but that was just the one I got. Hope this helps.
