I have used all brands of 22 ammo, from the most expensive match grade to the 89 cents a box cheapies. I have found the Federal Auto Match to be in the top of my favorites to shoot be it for targets, steel matches, pin shoots or hunting and plinking. I used in my cheep guns and also in my Ruger's, Smith & Wesson’s and my Anschutz. This 22 shell has performed flawlessly in all with no miss fires, jams or strays and consistently shoot sub.75 inch groups at 50 yards.

Shooting my Browning Buckmark at 50ft. indoor range with BSA red dot scope off a rest, this ammo will shoot 10 shot groups the size of a quarter while the best I can do with others (including ammo at four times the price) will do is the size of a silver dollar. In my pistol, this is the best accuracy ammo I have found.

I've shot a lot of .22 cal long rifle shells out of my Ruger 10/22. Nothing compares to this ammo. No jams, no duds, no problems. I use Ruger 10 round rotary clips. One inch groups at 50 yards with factory sights using a bench rest. I'll use no other ammo.

I shoot in an indoor range. My Rugers (22/45 auto pistol & 10/22 rifle never misfire or jam on this ammo. It's cheap and I can shoot a lot of rounds. I recommend it to anyone. I think it will shoot in anyone's weapon and do a fine job. Why pay more when your only shooting holes in paper?

Don't overlook this ammo due to bulk packaging and price. It performs very well in my Ruger MkIII in which I intended it for. The bonus is, I have shot 1" 10 shot groups @ 100yrds. with my CZ 453.

Very accurate in my Ruger mark 3 hunter with open sights. At 30 yards, cut the center of a quarter size bullseye out. No duds no jams. Very good ammo and I would highly recommend it.

This is now the only 22lr ammunition that I use in either pistols or rifles. It is reliable, accurate, and it is reasonably priced. This ammunition is particularly good in firearms that are failing to recycle other ammunition.

Extremely accurate and no failures so far. I have burned through 2 boxes so far. I have used it in 2 different Ruger MK II's and a S&W M22. Flawless and accurate. This ammo seems to be a little more powerful than match ammo but still very controllable. I will be buying more of this affordable ammo!

I rate this ammo five stars based on accuracy in my firearms versus price. Very little difference between this ammo and that costing twice as much or more. It functions and groups well in my pistols and rifles, semi-auto and bolt action. I will buy it again.

The Federal Automatch ammo was impressive to the point that my two brothers and I have stockpiled seven CASES of the of the same lot number for our future shooting pleasure. We shot over rests and printed 50 yard groups as tight as the much more expensive Wolf Match Target and Match Extra that it was no contest for us. (Hint) Better get some before the folks at Federal decide to charge for it like the Russian stuff (made in Germany).

This runs beautifully in my 10/22, and also is very good with 22 converted AR's. It is more expensive than the regular Federal bulk pack, but it is better and cleaner.

This stuff feeds really well in both our 10/22 rifle and Buckmark pistol. Accuracy is good and it burns pretty cleanly. It is the only thing I use for rimfire action pistol (where reliability is key). Good price/performance; Well places between the much more expensive premium stuff and the normal bulk packs.

I was fortunate to get some of this ammo recently. While it is not "Match" ammo, it comes pretty close. I was shooting for groups at 50 yards with my Ruger 10/22 fitted with a 1990's purchased Midway match barrel, Fajen stock and Volquartsen trigger kit. I fired a total of 100 five shot groups with the barrel being bore snaked every 100 rounds. I had a few groups with called fliers that opened up the groups to over 1 inch. The average for the 100 groups came to .7884 inches. I had 2 extremely phenomenal groups too. The first was .29 and the second was .27. This ammo is very good stuff. I was pleasantly surprised. I know Federal makes a great product but this stuff exceeded my expectations. Imagine, a bulk packed ammo delivering sub minute of angle groups.

I'm on my 11th bulk pack now and can't say anything but good things about this ammo. I use it in my modified 10/22 for both practice and competition. Hitting 1" spinners at 100 yards isn't hard so long as you watch everything else. At 200 yards the load still performs well enough that I use it in both practice and competition. Velocity is around 1,200 f/s from my 18" Green Mountain barrel (measured using a Competition Electronics ProChrono Digital Chronograph at 15' from muzzle).

With the 10/22 at 50 yds 1/2" groups with the S&W at 50yds 5" groups. Could not be happier with for price I paid. Get these rounds ASAP!! A must for target lots of practice.

This ammo has been a star performer in my Remington bolt rifles, shooting from well to superbly in all of them. It is one of the best of the inexpensive ammunitions generally available to the public at a good price. So far the AM22 has turned in the best groups in my 541S of the low to mid price range ammos I have tested so far. This is good stuff, made even better by a good price point.

My Savage Mark II BV will put 5 rounds of this ammo in about 1 1/4" at 100 yards on a calm day, with many groups being smaller, around 1". I'm really impressed with this ammo, especially for the price. It cycles my Mark III and 10/22 very well, too.

It has a lot to do with what type of rifle you shoot, But Federal shoots great in every type of gun I have. I bought this ammo to see how it shot out of my Marlin Model 60 because it wouldn't extract the Rem., Win., or the CCI. What a good test, I when shooting trying to shoot up two kind of CCI ammo and the rifle wouldn't extract them, so with out cleaning the gun, I pull out the federal ammo. SHOT EVERY TIME and very accurate.

An aspiring bullseye competitor, I have finally found excellent training ammo. AutoMatch feeds flawlessly through my very finicky S&W Model 41. For me, the accuracy equals or even surpasses Eley’s Sport, Practice, and Club Extra. It also out classes Federals own high dollar Gold Medal Match ammo. If you are looking for affordable reliability and accuracy AutoMatch is well worth a try.

This is the most accurate standard velocity ammo I've shot so far through my Ruger 10/22. I have a match chamber competition barrel mounted on the Ruger and its hard to find ammo that won't jam it, but this ammo shoots flawlessly. I just managed nearly 1/4 inch groups shooting this ammo at 50 yards. I LOVE this stuff

My custom 10/22 either loves or hates this stuff. One box was giving me nearly flier free 7/8" groups at 50yds, the next printed shotgun like patterns. But I'm not willing to condemn the round yet. I suspect I just got a bad box, the first was sure impressive. Still what others have said is true my NEOS will NOT feed this stuff. It's the only thing I've tried that the NEOS will not feed reliably. I was getting 2-3 FTFs per mag.

I shot a 5/8" group at 50 yds with this stuff in my Savage MkII BV this week. It was with variable (gusty)Kansas wind, so some of my groups were very windblown. However, when I could get a break in the wind, it shot very well for a cheap round. All rounds fired and fed great. I give it a very high rating for value. I only had about 2 flyers per 50. Great value!

Feeds and functions flawlessly in my 10/22 with an 18" Adams and Bennett barrel. However, after comparing it side by side with the CCI Blazer at 100 yards and over a chronograph, overall accuracy comparable but the AutoMatch always displayed a larger extreme velocity spread and a larger standard deviation with an order of magnitude of about 30% over the CCI. In my opinion, not worth the added expense and with a little patience, on sale the 500 pack CCI Blazer (in 50 round boxes instead of loose bulk) can found for the price of the 325 bulk Automatch.
